I had the opportunity to hear him performing live with Ustaad Zakir Hussain on tabla. I haven't heard hin perform live till then. A truly Devine ensemble. It was in the late eighties, in the Chennai Music Academy. Anil(K)
Saw him live in Houston, Texas (well, technically Stafford). It was superb.
That's the problem with AI generated images, they lack authenticity. Shri Chaurasiya was not dark in skin color. I have nothing against dark skin colors. I identify with myself as a dark skinned individual and proud of it. Its the misinformation that is so prevalent. Information should be given with most accuracy.

He is the one who gives the blow to make the flute sing. He is everywhere and He gave this beautiful art of blowing into the flute to create great music to Pt. Hariprasad ji. He is truly blessed as Hari ka Prasad. Who are us to come in between the one who is blessed and the divine? If someone calls him God of Flute, the divine must have encouraged him to say something.🙏
