Funny to see frc teams use vex parts. For algae intake you could add a hood over the coral intake and the flex wheels for the coral could be spun backwards and act as an underside intake for the algae
?? VEX/IRI came from the FIRST organization. FRC teams have been using VEX components since the begging. Do you know your competitive robotics history?
Noticed you did not show off using your coral intake as an algae intake like you did in your interview video. Did this not work once the full robot was assembled?
We did not want to show it off in the reveal as it isn't as consistent as we would like with further testing. We are looking at doing a design inspired by Spectrum 3847 which will be a little larger to more consistently intake Algae. We will release a post on the new intake by next week.
incredibly clean bot for ri3d and impressively complex, i could see a design like this being competitive! very well done!

Thug intake
Flex wheels were made for frc orginally as a vex pro part

most epic reveal I've seen so far. Love the coral intake. Do you plan on tackling algee with this bot later.
Am i missing something or is that intake illegal? I dont think it can start outside the bumpers
as per
@@steen4089 Yes, the intake is illegal, it was just to mock up what it would look like if we had an over the bumper ground intake on a pivot.
Good song choice 🎉🎉
We are planning on doing a ground intake very similar to this one!
Are you guys going to keep that robot for comp, or build another one?
Build another
Nice I’m excited to see it
Holy demon bot

The intake is illegal btw, can’t have it going over the bumper like that
What rule is that?
I'm sure it would have a pivot somewhere eventually
There is no bumper period, so it’s alr illegal, but it’s an ri3d robot, not an comp bot
Big fan of this video 🙌🙌🙌
