BTW, no one paid me to make this video. I just like the products and thought it would be cool to demonstrate how it works :)

Nice video, Bowen! Very useful - been wondering about rigging this camera, and your solution looks just perfect!
I am going to have to build out my rig like this
Waiting for 6k full frame to arrive, tempted to build this rig, looks great
Same here with my Komodo but I love you have your lidar mounted
Sweet. How do you find the lidar with the ring grip? I can imagine you ducking a lot to see what it's showing for focus? Also, is the Lidar focuspicker wheel accessable using the ring grip handles?
Very sweet rig ! Do have any productions filmed with this setup ?
Thanks! Hopefully I can upload some stuff from it soon
Such a cool rig bro!!
thanks Ed!!
My Moza Air 2S works perfectly with my Cinema 🙌🏽
Awesome rig!
thanks dude!
Are you controlling record on/off from the tilta ring? How are you doing that if you don't mind me asking? Thanks!
Thanks for a great vid. How do you remove the base stand of the lidar, and what did you replace it with to attach to the plate?
I think it was just two m4 screws. Just used a multitool. I used the same screws to attach it to the plate. Somehow they fit.
does the Llidar have 2 M4 screw holes? can you measure the distance between the holes?
So the ronin RS 3 is a good gimbal for the new FF BM? Just purchased one and couldn’t find a whole lot of gimbals for the new FF. The only lens I have right now is the Meike 50mm T2.1, full tilta cage for FF, small rig mini matte box and follow focus. Thx
Have you tried the LiDAR with adapted vintage lenses? Currently building my set
Not yet but I have a buddy that exclusively uses his with Leica R's!
@@BowenMoreno this is encouraging. I’m doing the contax Zeiss route, and after EF mount conversions with that EF to L Rear ND it would be great to add autofocus.
I love this setup, thinking of doing something similar with my lumix s5ii
@@CartyCantDancetry the pd movie lidar, much more compact and works w no gimbal ( and you dont have to buy the dji cable hub amd still use a gimbal to calibrate it )
I have this exact same rig except for lidar and im using 6K Pro. BIGGEST downside is the ring grip drains any vmounts or battery handle even when powered off, such a disappointing downside.
Isn’t there a way to just turn it off lol? Not that big of a hassle between shoots. The 6k pro drains the motor if you don’t balance and add counter balances correctly
I have a similar combo! Do you ever experience micro jitters caused by tolerance gaps throughout the system?
Not so far! Seems to be balanced decently
Do you have any problem between the filters of the adapter and the nisi Athena pl lens?
Great question. The Nisi Athena’s seem to not work well with the Mofage Poco. It doesn’t clear the filter so you won’t be able to mount the lens. However, it’s working here with the Hot Rod Cameras L to PL adapter.
I have a set of 6 zeiss cp2 (ef) and I really wanted to upgrade to the full frame but Im having a hard time to use variable nd filters with it. the lens are 114mm front. do you know if I can find a L mout to Ef converter with drop in nd filters?
Try the Mofage Poco system
@@BowenMoreno thanks for the reply. but My Zeiss are EF, Does Mofage has in EF to L?
Can We use Small rig cage for this setup to support lidar. Can you explain to me how's that possible
Yeah! If you run it like how I have it here in this video, it should work just fine
@@BowenMoreno thanks Man
Very nice setup. Do you have footage from using it?
Tomorrow I'm taking it on a Doc project! I'll share some of the footage here or on my insta soon.
It’s this the rs3 pro or just the normal rs3 ?
i want this rig so bad
one day!
What are your thoughts on the M1 so far?
so far so good! I think the only thing lacking is the quality of the panel itself. The wireless tech is great though. It's not quite smallhd quality yet in terms of picture.
Hmmm that’s nice
Agreed
Please am curious to know the total cost of this rig. Can you tell.
Why don't you tell us how heavy it is 😂
Also can you start/stop record?
Dude I don’t know the weight but it’s definitely hefty. Gotta hit the gym w this one haha. For run stop you’d have to run a cable I think
@@BowenMoreno the DJI website itself didn't list BMCC6K on supported cameras for RS3 / 3 Pro, have you tried run/stop recording with the cables by any chance? been running around the internet and forums to confirm but have found 0 confirmation about this, lol
