His second year last year he played in and started 15 games and had 905 rushing yards, 4.1 YPA. 8 rushing TDs, with 29 catches for 259 yards and 1 td. PFF grades St Brown in the top 3 overall each year, and his stats back it up, but they still won’t put him up there in their rankings because what they perceive as a lack of jaw dropping big play wow factor. Actual PFF QB Grades calculated from 2023 were: 10)Goff 85.7 9)Cousins 86.1 8)Hurts 86.7 7)Tua 86.9 6)Purdy 87.4 5)Stafford 88.2 4) Dak 90 3)Lamar 90.4 2) Mahomes 90.5 and 1) Allen 92.1 That is the baseline. Now look Sam's, Trevor's, and your opinions to see how they diverge.
They're calling dramatic bounce backs from Rodgers, Burrow, and Herbert, and dramatic regression from Purdy and Tua. (I don't really buy either)

I'm fairly surprised at how many older players or ones coming off of down years, at least in terms of total production, are ranking so high on this list. Not saying it'll pan out to be wrong I'm just used to thinking of PFF's analysis as trying to be sharp to the point of near ambivalence in regards to reputation, yet a lot of these rankings still seem to take in a lot of stock of the perception of a player. Rodgers, Davante Adams, Cooper Kupp, Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb, and Josh Jacobs all seem to fit the mold of the kind of player PFF would usually hedge against. Some of those guys are a couple of years removed from elite production or impact.

But that's neither here nor there I hear what you're saying abkut there being no reason dude had to put stafford down to bring Goff up. But as far as this list it's inane to have some of these guys over goff when you take into account playoff success. Dak, Allen, while also having stroud (who I like but it's been a year) above a guy who's had playoff success with two teams. Meanwhile they give Herbert every excuse to keep him on a top 10 pedestal but when Goff has a poor throw it's immediately "that's Goffs ceiling" edit : see lol haven't even seen the whole video but Herberts losses become a "team game" but if he wins he's the x factor, meanwhile Goff is apparently just a product of the talent around him

I don’t think we will see the WR market move exponentially like QBs have. The cap simply isn’t exponential. There will be a point when a top WR gets told no, and other teams realize that they can have a 1B and 2A WRs for only a bit more than the 1A. It will top out just like RBs have. It will happen quicker if more and more good WRs are in drafts, and teams can move on.

Terrible take on Herbert (and others)… Guys- you want to decide if you are ranking the top QBs for 2024 (which I understood to be the case), or, ‘prospects’ to select now to be your QB going forward (this to me is not what the list is meant to be). Case in point in Matthew Stafford. I am sorry but Stafford is the best QB in the NFC and it is not close. I believe for the 2024 season the ONLY QBs that you would honestly ride with over him are (certainly) Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, (and maybe) Burrow. No one else has proven himself better. The guy should have won SB MVP 3 years ago and his game has not faltered since then. Last year he willed an average rams team into the playoffs. @@billsfanatic7288 No-one in the league has been better than Mahomes in the regular season over the last 6 years though. Allen has fewer passing yards, fewer total yards, fewer TDs, a lower completion percentage and fewer yards per play. I'm not sure how they teach statistics where you're from but you couldn't be more wrong. Let's not even mention the post season because Mahomes has more of everything there too. He has both the rings and the statistics and all the MVPs and Josh has absolutely nothing so far. Allens best year is losing in regulation in the AFC championship game yet at the moment that would qualify as the worst season of Mahomes career. There's an absolute gulf between them both statistically and in achievement since they entered the NFL.

Justin Jefferson signing a 40-million dollar a year deal? I'll believe that only when I see it and then I still might not believe it. Here's the thing, with the way the rules are tilted toward the offense and the number of kids coming out of college and hitting their stride in year one or year two, you don't need to double-dip at that position. The Lions paid St. Brown. Great, love the guy, love his heart, glad he's sticking around, but he's the one. I don't see Jamo getting an offer anywhere near St. Brown's deal and if he does, let him walk. #2 WR's can be had at reasonable price on the FA market for one and two year deals and you can draft a kid as late as the third round and if you pick properly he can take over that two spot in year one or year two. 40-million for a WR? That's just a fool and his money kind of signing.
