Yeah literally. The fact that it had me filled with so much hope and happiness thoughout the whole movie, it was funny and a sweet romantic teen drama, then in the last ten minutes it turned into a dark melodrama. Like they already had a sad twist but they just had to add another one💀😭
I need to restock on tears. Its an amazing movie. I recommend this whole heartedly. The ending video that he left her was almost like he was in heaven talking to her. The scenery just looked so peaceful. It wasn't the closure she wanted, but it was what she needed to move on.

on twitter i saw a theory that said he died while going to Korea cause we know that he wanted to go to seoul national uni for his studies and he told that to bora thats why she also applied there. woonho stopped contacting her around the same time when the application results where announced. woonho probably wanted to surprise bora with his arrival in korea but he might have had a bad accident on his way there or something cause remember his brother johsep hated bora cause woonho was leaving to meet her... he might have blamed bora for woonho's death... again this is just a theory...a extra painful one...

@@lizz6444 not to be dramatic but that is like the LONGEST series i have ever watched 😭😂 it's only 1 season but as i can remember there were like 60 episodes not sure but yeah it was hella long but it's interesting to watch. It's a historical kdrama with kings and queens and it's very beautiful.
That one show that shall not be named really put me off the retro vibes. I was loving the story, especially their depiction of how the IMF crisis affected families, and the 911 bombings effects. But that ending really depressed me for weeks.

Woonhoo confessing his feelings on a rollercoaster ride despite his fear of heights 4.. Bora bawling her eyes out infront of her blind date when she heard his name "woonhoo" 5.. Bora crying out over the unreachable phonecall saying " im gonna forget you for real now, im gonna take you as dead, i dont miss you" 6. The fact that he actually died😭😭😭😭😭😭 7. The fact that he wanted to see the 21st century Bora 8. The fact that he'll never grow up 😭😭😭 9. The fact that Bora waited for him all those years only to find out he died 😭 10. I have high hopes for the ending, I got my heart beating so fast and saying "They're going to meet again!!" When the camera focused on the bench and my eyes caught the words written there "The eternal spring REMEMBERING Poong Woon-ho (1983-2001)" I think my heart stopped and felt heartache, that was when my tears started to fall down. My expectations lead my anxiety depression go 📈💔😥😥😥
The ending could have been similar vibes with Our Times movie where they get to reunite again in their 30s but the writers want us in pain 😭 I could have accepted it if they could just have parted ways… Woon-ho is too much of a green flag to leave too soon. They didn’t even have a proper date yet! 😩

It's like " OUR TIME ", a Taiwanese movie. Just with a little bit differences. It was a story of a girl in current timeline (adult) who kept reminiscing her teen days. By listening to her record tape. That was the time where she had met her first love. Girl was also stuck between two guys. Long story, the male lead and her didn't end up during their teens, but they've met again in the future, the current timeline (Adult version of themselves). Based from what I've understand in this movie trailer. Yoo Jung's bestfriend has a crush on the 2nd male lead. But because her bestfriend has a heart condition, she was sent to abroad to cure it and recuperate. Her bestfriend then asked her to spy and update her always about the 2nd male lead. And being a loyal bff, she did her wish. Also to make up with her sick bff. Then she started doing plans and strategies to get infos about the 2nd lead. But the 2nd male lead misunderstood it, and he thought that Yoo Jung has a crush on him instead. Later on, he ended up liking her. Now, while the stalking was happening on 2nd male lead, Yoo Jung accidentally fell in love with the male lead (Byeon Woseok), which is also the best friend of 2nd male lead. But the male lead also misunderstood and thought that Yoo Jung likes the 2nd male lead, making it a hindrance for the both of them to make their relationship bloom. Both Yoo Jung and Byeon Woseok fell in love with each other on their highschool days. I think there will be a reason why the two will separate. But the male lead, as he promised. Create a plan to meet her again in the future. Because it seems like they didn't end up during their teen days. But instead, they will continue their love story in the current timeline, as an adult.
The movie is soo sad.. 🥺🥺 Why didn't the writer think about the mental health of the people who watch this... 🙃 Every year there is kind of style in all the dramas and movies but this year is a sad one... like.. why these writers killing main leads???? 🥲🥲 It is so depressing... what about changing this style?🥲 it is way better if main leads didn't contact each other for so long and after many years they meeting each other 🥺 why killing one of them and making the story sad... 😭 Next time please consider the poor heart of the people 🥺
When I saw the future Bora (HanHyoJoo) smiled at the end, I just have a feeling that the ending will be wholesome. Let's not forget that Jung Suk Yong is in the movie too, dude's a 100% comedy Kim Yoo Jung & the 20CG cast, FIGHTING! ❤❤❤

SPOILER ALERT: saw this plot before, the plot was a lot like tada kimi wo aishiteru / heavenly forest 2006 of japan. they made it videography instead of photography and phonebooth instead of snail mail, the girl died in the end without the boy knowing it and that girl in japanese was extrovert, and the japanese man was introvert, while in the korean guy was introvert he also died in the end, while the girl was extrovert. they switched the gender and personality , same ending too. it's about the exibit. and discovering some stolen shots (picture/video) of the japanese guy/ korean girl. the only difference are the moments spent together.
This movie is fantastic and definitely a one worth watching. I cried for about thirty minutes after his death and realized that love is precious. We need to appreciate the things we have. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and finding a best friend to spend your life with. If you’ve lost your best friend remember those moments with them. Don’t try forgetting them or being sad for them. Instead try remembering those good and bad times with them and be happy that they are still watching over you. They finished their race before you did. Now you have to push through to finish your race strong. God bless everyone.

I have high hopes for the ending, I got my heart beating so fast and saying "They're going to meet again!!" When the camera focused on the bench and my eyes caught the words written there "The eternal spring REMEMBERING Poong Woon-ho (1983-2001)" I think my heart stopped and felt heartache, that was when my tears started to fall down.
My expectations lead my anxiety depression go 📈💔😥😥😥
The ending could have been similar vibes with Our Times movie where they get to reunite again in their 30s but the writers want us in pain 😭 I could have accepted it if they could just have parted ways… Woon-ho is too much of a green flag to leave too soon. They didn’t even have a proper date yet! 😩

i finished this movie and i cried a lot..i wasn't prepared for the twist of the story it was shocking and painful... kudos to the cast! a magnificent one! its been awhile i didn't watch Korean movie but thisssss movie i can't explain my feeelingssss anyways i highly recommend this! watch it now!

Just finished watching this and I am on the floor crying my eyes out. Such a beautiful movie and it has absolutely caught what's it like to be so in love with someone at 17. That overwhelming rush and freshness of first love is so beautifully depicted. Made the nostalgia hit pretty hard. And she's now 37 while he will always be 18🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

It's like " OUR TIME ", a Taiwanese movie. Just with a little bit differences. It was a story of a girl in current timeline (adult) who kept reminiscing her teen days. By listening to her record tape. That was the time where she had met her first love. Girl was also stuck between two guys. Long story, the male lead and her didn't end up during their teens, but they've met again in the future, the current timeline (Adult version of themselves).
Based from what I've understand in this movie trailer. Yoo Jung's bestfriend has a crush on the 2nd male lead. But because her bestfriend has a heart condition, she was sent to abroad to cure it and recuperate. Her bestfriend then asked her to spy and update her always about the 2nd male lead. And being a loyal bff, she did her wish. Also to make up with her sick bff. Then she started doing plans and strategies to get infos about the 2nd lead. But the 2nd male lead misunderstood it, and he thought that Yoo Jung has a crush on him instead. Later on, he ended up liking her. Now, while the stalking was happening on 2nd male lead, Yoo Jung accidentally fell in love with the male lead (Byeon Woseok), which is also the best friend of 2nd male lead. But the male lead also misunderstood and thought that Yoo Jung likes the 2nd male lead, making it a hindrance for the both of them to make their relationship bloom. Both Yoo Jung and Byeon Woseok fell in love with each other on their highschool days. I think there will be a reason why the two will separate. But the male lead, as he promised. Create a plan to meet her again in the future. Because it seems like they didn't end up during their teen days. But instead, they will continue their love story in the current timeline, as an adult.
I agree with the Our Time bit. When the grown-up version appeared, that was the same movie that came to mind!

When I saw the future Bora (HanHyoJoo) smiled at the end, I just have a feeling that the ending will be wholesome. Let's not forget that Jung Suk Yong is in the movie too, dude's a 100% comedy

saw this plot before, the plot was a lot like tada kimi wo aishiteru / heavenly forest 2006 of japan. they made it videography instead of photography and phonebooth instead of snail mail, the girl died in the end without the boy knowing it and that girl in japanese was extrovert, and the japanese man was introvert, while in the korean guy was introvert he also died in the end, while the girl was extrovert. they switched the gender and personality , same ending too. it's about the exibit. and discovering some stolen shots (picture/video) of the japanese guy/ korean girl. the only difference are the moments spent together.

This movie is fantastic and definitely a one worth watching. I cried for about thirty minutes after his death and realized that love is precious. We need to appreciate the things we have. I wish everyone a Happy New Year and finding a best friend to spend your life with. If you’ve lost your best friend remember those moments with them. Don’t try forgetting them or being sad for them. Instead try remembering those good and bad times with them and be happy that they are still watching over you. They finished their race before you did. Now you have to push through to finish your race strong. God bless everyone.
