Combo Raza Priest was probably the only Reno deck that I really liked. It was more like a well oiled machine that worked very efficiently towards the flashy endgame combo. A pile of tech cards just doesn't spark joy the same way.
It's so funny, I was just thinking, "😌 I love Reno Priest" when you said you didn't care for it the first time in the video. And you're right, of course, it's become much less interesting over time and a fair bit of my love for it comes from nostalgia. Drakonid Operative remains my favorite card to this day from those times. Nevertheless I still do like it as a concept, I just wish all these Theotar/Reno LR/Okani type cards could have just never been printed so controlly Reno decks could maintain more of an identity from class to class 😮💨
You know Marshie has been taking it easy on ladder when he’s queuing into pirate rogues who pass turn one and coin swordfish on turn 2 Kappa Love that Buu guy
Castle nathria reno thief priest was the one time i really fell in love with reno priest, and one of the only times i enjoyed playing a tier 1 deck. Nowadays i roll my eyes when i face a reno priest, in large part due to reno fatigue in general
You have to be more specific 😭 but you mean the two new ones right? I dont know about must but they both seem good. I think Voljin is pretty likely to become a staple, and the other one has a good chance too but Im less confident about it.
I think I've seen your vids for more than a year now and I have to say you are the streamer I enjoy watching the most by far. I play HS since blackrock launch (with a few breaks in the middle) and honestly you are one of my favorite CCs in general, not only HS. I genuinely hope you can continue to enjoy what you do for a long time ^^ (sorry if cringe)
Its in a pretty bad place imo, but might require too many changes to fix at this point. I think we’re getting close to the “might as well unnerf everything” point
Every time I hear Vol'jin I have flashbacks to his death and how upset I was (and still am, Vol'jin was a homie) about it. Sorry to hear about your loss of enjoyment for reno priest. Thats how I've been feeling about renolock for a few years now, I get it. Not being able to play one of my 3 favorite cards of all time was ultimately why I've shelved the deck until we get another playably good demon package. Here's fingers crossed we get something for these iconic decks.
The all-murlocs set shouldn’t just include the obvious transformation of every character into a murloc equivalent, but also should turn the murloc characters into people.
referencing your monoIogue - i stiII pIay 30card poIkeIt raza shadow priest from whizbang you made, whose the most expensive cards were two razas and benedict, and it was my Iast wiId Iegend, in May; i very enjoyed that it had bareIy any tech cards, and probabIy wouId pIay it again if i had new VoIjin by the way, do you think in that 30 card version Soothfancy wouId have his pIace or is it Iike 31st card?
yknow, while I understand the obvious utility of damage hero power being usable for removal and as an inevitability wincon. Since the benefits of Raza are more significant with longevity, I had wondered why more normal priest raza lists havent popped up
Shadow gives you more utility through damage. Being a control deck and being able to clean up boards with just the hero power makes things a lot easier. Also once you get your Raza's online you don't need a third card to be able to put the pedal to the metal. Lastly, 2 damage over the course of a game is worth more than 2 healing. HP is worth about ~3:1 hp:mana or less while damage is ~1.5:1 damage:mana. This makes damage drastically more valuable as you get less for your mana. Obv these aren't hard rules for value conversion, but it's the trend that HS has always gone for.
Its just a much stronger hero power, and most of the best spells are shadow anyway. Its more necessary now that Anduin is out, without the Shadow hero power the combo would be three cards instead of two.
2024 is the strangest meta yet. I never thought I'd see the day where I could win games with Renothal Start of Game Cards Druid while debating cutting the actual Reno Jackson minion. Maybe even the Zeph, too. Druid Alex and Reno, Lone Ranger are the ones that keep winning the games and the other two are turned off more often than not. If my opponent doesn't do it it's because it's me. I did it. I Branned the Ambassador Faelin and I have three Neptulons at the bottom of my deck. I'm not sorry. The point of the deck is to have all the cards ever, not to win the game.
Reduce the Deck to 30 cards with faster lower cost cards. A fast 30 card deck with wombo combo @ the end, feels better than a over value 40 card attribition deck with wombo combo....
The whitemane skin you’re using has been confusing me all expansion. Why would they give Priest a DH themed skin, when their tourist only lets them play hunter cards? Wouldn’t a DH getting a priest themed skin make more sense since they have Aranna and access to priest and DH cards together?
One of the reason I hate reno decks in wild is because reno lone ranger exist, in my opinion this card should never exist in hearthstone, it ruins a lot of strats just by playing this card, no card should do such a thing like removing your opponents entire board including stuff like portal, and also limting the opponents board fo 1 turn.
I dislike modern Reno priest because to combat other combo decks you just need to put in all the disruption and hope one of them hits your opponents cards. It's full of techcards and disruption and no longer plays like the old versions did. Every "control" reno deck is now a "destroy the opponents hand" deck, and that feels annoying to play and play against.
just when i needed marshian the most, he is here for me

Dear fav martian as a priest/reno priest player are the two legends a must
You have to be more specific 😭 but you mean the two new ones right? I dont know about must but they both seem good. I think Voljin is pretty likely to become a staple, and the other one has a good chance too but Im less confident about it.
@MartianBuu yes it's those cards, I should've specified. Thanks for the swift answer 🙏
This deck looks like one of the cheapest to craft, from a new player perspective - and DEFINITELY worth the price of admission!

Thank you friend!
There isn’t a shadow of a doubt, this is the best marshie video released today
If you made a podcast in the style you made the outro id probably listen to every episode lol great vid marti!
wow its reno priest, famous for having cards in it
So real
Do you think that the wild format is in a good place or are there any changes you would like to see in the format?
Its in a pretty bad place imo, but might require too many changes to fix at this point. I think we’re getting close to the “might as well unnerf everything” point

Definitely agree. New raza feels like tech shaman and it doesn't feel the same as old Raza priest.
Such an underrated HS channel!
Never bring a fight to a swordfish.
New Marshie video?! I'm in paradise! 🏖️
The all-murlocs set shouldn’t just include the obvious transformation of every character into a murloc equivalent, but also should turn the murloc characters into people.
I got signature narain too and it looks much better than vanilla narain, i'm pretty sad though because i don't have many tools to play priest
is sawquack a good addition to the deck? it can repeat spells and amanthuls.
A lot of competition for 7s already and I think its really situational
Why not run Mixologist over Kazakus if you're going for the 1-cost potion anyways? Or run both?
I was just running Kaza cause I like Kaza.
Another riveting game of Chumbostone
Man, i miss the VOD Chanel 😢

Maybe, he seems kinda good but harder to justify without the 10 health from Renathal, and I remember not liking 4s in that build.

multiversus video coming?
D knight is the only class to not have a murloc portrait i believe
They should fix that

Raza is so mean, can't even share the deck with Andwin
Jokes aside, how do you like your potatoes?
Fries I eat the most, scalloped are the most novel since I have them so rarely, mashed might be my favorite 🤔

Yes but its also worse rn :/
"Chumbo", pronouncing the U with a narrower mouth, is slang for gun in Argentina.
Interesting 🤔
So "never bring a sword to a chumbo flight" has a whole new meaning now.
10 hour vid when?? :3

Spent too much time touring in demon hunter 🤷
Whitemane also got a jazz skin instead of a pop skin during festival, so not the first time it has happened to her lol
goodnight sweet prince
Marenopriest
New death knight! (Wild ofc) Please
Tonight at 10
@@MartianBuu thank you man ❤️ u made my day, greetings from Poland
When the cheap deck
Wow first I love you martian man

Unfortunately thats just what's strongest to do in card games, beyond pure hard mana cheating of course
Spooky spook? Little scary my guy
