We have so many extra draft picks until 2031 so we have plenty of time to finish our frontcourt and find the perfect forward or centre to free Wemby up

I just dont understand people. How did Wemby have a bad shooting day going 11-17 fg's and 5-9 on three point attempts. Also mite i add had a triple double. What does this man need to do to get respect. So I guess you want him to have 50 points a night go 100 percent on field goals and three pointers. This is a joke of a podcast man.
From March/April, everybody knows what Wemby is capable of. This beginning of season he was far away from his real level (bad shot selection, turnovers, no box-outs, some defensive wanderings,...). During the game against Sacramento, we find back the real Wemby, capable to break the double trap by a beautiful assist, to find the better solution (drive to the rim, shot or pass),... In April, Wemby had 6.8 assists per game. He should be at this level every night because the opponents need to double trap him in order to avoid that he scores too easily. With his size, it is "easy" to pass the ball above the defenders to the Spurs player who is unguarded. For the last 10 games, Wemby is 51% overall and 41% at 3. He is also currently improving a lot his efficiency compared to last year. With this level, Wemby is already a top10 NBA player (surely a second NBA team), but still not closed to Jokic, Giannis, Shaï or Doncic. Hope that he will continue to improve to be closer to this group of potential MVP players...
The Spurs have gotten back to what they’ve always done Best and that’s young player development. The Spurs don’t need to go after an expensive Star. The Spurs have several draft picks for this upcoming Draft class which should be loaded.
People asking Wemby to do more till he get hurt and the going to look dumb for asking. Let him play at his pace and do what he likes as he develops. He played a good game with very smart plays in the 4th that won us the game
