Thanks for your videos Jeff! You should monetize your videos. I know you are doing this to help everyone, but there's no reason you shouldn't get paid from advertising for sharing all this great knowledge!
I never thought about mounting solar to my wind turbine tower until now because of the high winds over here. Just erected the new tower and yes I think it would take it. I will try and up load a video of the tower but storms this week are not making it easy.PS thanks for the pound weed info.
Your welcome Ian. Just seen your new tower and it looks really good. The pond weeds, ughhhhh, sick of those things. I can't wait to see if the Grass Carp actually keep it cleaned out.
Do you come out to give a complete wind / solar set up estimate for my house? I live in Garnett Kansas. I can do some of the assembly after mounting system is in. I would need instructions on how every thing hooks up though. Thanks Rocky
Jeff... I've been meaning to ask you 3 questions. 1) What would you recommend for a wind "Diversion load"??? 2) I'm restoring a 1930's Wincharger brand generator.... Do you know anywhere I could find detailed measurements off of an old blade??? 3) Any thoughts on how to control exciting the field windings? lol thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks, very informative. Is any specific controller designed for a specific type of battery, or will any controller charge lead acid, nicad, lithium, whatever? OK, let's say you have solar or wind or solar and wind ... and a generator. Is there a way to connect a charge controlling box to everything and when your wind and IF your solar let you down you can resort to charging batteries with a generator to keep them topped off?
Hi Jeff; I'm just back from my second and hopefully last long tour in Afghanistan and yer videos have grown immensely. Could you do a video on what a person would require to have a solar/wind setup for say a catastrophe or WROL or just prepper, to run a fridge or power strip incl. fridge. the basics and the top products. The big name talk radio personalities push really high end products that when you strip it all down, yer really just paying for a sturdy cart on wheels. Hope all is well for you and your brother, keep em coming.

Thank you Jeff.
Your welcome Richard
