oh mate why didn't I find your channel sooner? This is inspirational stuff.
I have an uninspiring $160 engraver which I'm about to replace with a hopefully more rigid $200 engraver - fingers crossed this will allow me to make acceptable panels!

I dont't know. I was here the last four years. But coming back to the engraver. Do you really think that just 40$ more will bring better results?

Korry's have clear lettering, not whiteish as you have on yours. Try using clear acrylic with a diffuser. Diffuser can be a scuffed up piece of the clear acrylic.

That glue looks really practical with the long snout. Which is it and what kind of glue?

Michael, if you're going to engrave panels, you need to use the right paint. Consider using urethane based paints. Also, you need to use an air assist with plenty of air. Your engravings look poor, but I think both the mentioned things should help a lot. Also, I recommend engraving at a 45 degree angle as your X and Y axis on an inexpensive CO2 like the one you have never engrave 1:1. Engraving at 45 degrees allows for even strokes throughout so the vertical and horizontal parts of (for example) a "T" are not different.

Now I finally understand what you meant with the 45° angle. Yes, this can result in a good mix of the two axis. I will try this on the next panel.

    I really like the buttons.
Line 55 A12 still has a hex mistake. It should be 66EF & 66F0 not 66F1. Fortunately, you started at 66F2 on the next line.

Yes, that is the result when you are staring at offsets the whole evening. I just forgot that it has to start with 0.

Are you working on an audio selector panel? Nobody else seems to be working on one.

I will do this when I can make use of it in the simulator. In homecockpits this is rarely used.

Hi Michael, what size of the gears are you using on the servo at the gauge?
