Rotational gameplay saved the sims 4 for me. It's super fun. I wish there were more rotational LPs on youtube

It's definitely a game changer and makes your game more interesting to play. I will try to make more rotational LP vids. 😀

I'm currently setting up my rotational save so I haven't done it yet, but I did figure out a strategy for neighborhood stories in my regular playthroughs. At the start of the game I go to the unplayed households and then uncheck "not in world" because I really don't care what random townies that don't live in a house do. I go through each household and disable adoption or having a baby based on whether or not I think that family would realistically do that. I assume they wouldn't, unless the family is a couple and they don't have any more than 2 kids who are both younger than young adult. I leave everything else on with a few exceptions because I want Vlad to stay in his house and I could see him and Judith Ward adopting. Then after every in-game week I'll repeat the process. That way it still does leave room for townies having kids or adopting, and sometimes you do still end up with a few pretty big families, but it still feels somewhat realistic where at some point they're done having kids.

Thanks for the tips. ❤ I love the idea of Vlad and Judith adopting. 🙂

@@simmernatYT Yeah I was doing a legacy playthrough (only made it to 2nd gen lol) and when Gen 2 was a teen she made friends with someone Vlad adopted, except the person Vlad adopted was NOT a vampire. So it set up an interesting story, which is partly why I'm going to start a rotational save. That way I can use other characters and go through interesting stuff like that or play through multiple story ideas without waiting for the next gen.

@@Madmonkeman I always try to get past a 2nd generation with my legacies but it's really hard. 😊

Will you ever create a rotational legacy gameplay? I love watching those videos

Hi there, I do have the Build A World Challenge which is essentially rotational gameplay. It starts with four different families and will eventually be four different legacies in one save file. You can check it out under the playlists on my channel.
