소수빈은 정식 데뷔 전인 2013년부터 여러 뮤지션의 앨범에 피처링으로 참여하며 모습을 드러낸 뮤지션이다. 낮에는 아르바이트를 하고 밤에는 곡을 쓰며 자신의 음악을 단련해온 그는 2016년 데뷔곡 'oh-i'를 발표하며 이름 석 자를 알리기 시작했다. 담담한 목소리로 섬세한 감정을 말하듯 풀어내는 소수빈의 음악은 시작하는 연인들, 짝사랑에 혼자 가슴앓이를 하는 이들에게 차분한 위로를 선물했다. 최근에는 10대들의 이야기를 다룬 웹드라마에 소수빈의 노래가 실리며 순수하고 찬란한 시절에 어울리는 음악으로 더욱 많은 사람들의 사랑을 받는 '인디씬의 신예'로 손꼽히고 있다.
