Let me know if a certain part of the video caught you off guard or not 😅 comment “YES” if it did!
Well done!
Thanks Toni!
Fine work. I would like to see a longer clip of the finished piece.
Great work as usual - to say that I'm jealous of your 'workshop' is a massive understatement!
😄 thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Awesome job with this project! Such a relaxing video to watch. Keep up the good work! Barry
🙏🏽😃 thank you!
Lovely job mate 👏
Thanks Jay! 👊😃
Wow. That came out beautiful. Such a cute dog and pretty home you get to work in.
Thank you! 😊
Absolutely stunning! Your hard work really paid off. And I love your gorgeous pup.
☺️ Thank you so much!
First off may I just say I love your back garden. So private and lush surrounded by those beautiful palms. Well done with that wonderful desk. I grew up in the sixties and seventies in a house full of mid century modern furniture and have inherited a lot of it. I’ve always loved the simplicity of the style and it’s interesting to see it come back into fashion.
🙏🏽🙂 Thank you so much! We absolutely love mid-century pieces. It's always tough letting them go when it's time to sell. Do you have any of the highly sought-after pieces in your possession, such as Brasilia or Kent coffee?
@@diytainment yes I do. My bedroom set is Kent Coffey and the dining room is all Brasilia. I also have a Danish teak mid century desk and living room set.
Wow 🤩 sounds like you’re in mid century heaven!!
Yaaay another video 🤩🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hope you enjoyed it!
Sorry it took a while to get here, I wanted the time to enjoy it in one sitting.
Not a problem! Glad you enjoyed it! We’re gearing up for the next project!😬
Beautiful outcome Guys.
Thank you 🙂
Great idea taping around for wood filler patches. Beautiful restoration!
🙏🙂 thank you
Очень классная работа, достойна восхищения.Вы показали отличный мастер класс.Браво.
🙏🙂 thank you
Young man’s got about 500% more patience than I did at his age when I first started this hobby.
Nice work, you made it beautiful again and that’s always the best we can do.
😄 thank you and that’s true! We were shocked at its state when we went to pick it up so much so that we almost walked away from it but we’re so happy we didn’t! Glad you enjoyed the restoration!
So glad y'all are getting back to furniture and videos. Absolutely stunning work😍😍😍🔥🔥🙌
Thank you!! More to come😁
Beautiful workmanship
Thank you🙏🏽
You are extremely talented.
🙏🏽😄 thank you!
I enjoy your videos so much! There is something so satisfying and relaxing watching you work on these pieces. You are truly an artist! Also, I love the photography, your garden and the dogs!
🙏🏽😊 thank you, we’re so happy you enjoyed it! Which pup was your favorite? The sniffling inspector is “winter” and the younger playful one is “Riley”
Very nice work. Congratulations. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Stunning
Thank you! 😊
What a gorgeous setting to "work" in. The video and editing are so relaxing and entertaining. What a gorgeous piece it is now! Your pup was a huge bonus for me. 🤍
I'm glad Barry recommended your channel.
Thank you so much! Which of the 2 pups was your favorite? One is Riley and the other is winter she’s the full husky and the other a shepsky 😃
@@diytainment Come on, now. I can't play favorites when it comes to dogs. They're both precious and adorable!!! 🤍🤍
😄agreed lol
Beautiful work!
Thank you!
Very nice. I enjoyed the scenery!
Thank you very much!
Great work, buddy!!
Thanks!! 👊😁
Can’t decide if you’re featuring your filming and editing expertise or the furniture repairing expertise 😊! Both beautifully done. Hard for a newbie like me to follow because products used are not always identified but I’m ok with it because it’s very zen to watch! Bravo 👏🏽
Thank you! 😊 we create content more to inspire but next time we will try and have everything in frame, glad you enjoyed it!
Your style is exceptional and inspiring so stay the course 😉!
🙏🏽😊
Beautifully done!
Thank you very much!
Forgot to mention I love your dog. He’s beautiful.😊
Thank you! there was 2 of them Riley playing at the start and winter was the one giving the desk her sniff of approval 😄
Excellent work! Cheers 🍻
Thank you 👊😃
Barry sent me too..beautiful result
Awesome! Thank you!
Gorgeous restoration. I love the color. The hardware looks great.
Thanks so much!
Barry sent me over and I’m glad he did. Great work 😊
Did he!?! Haha he’s awesome! Thank you!
Yeah. Thanks Barry. It's why yours popped up again. I keep channels that post each month. Barry went longer recently😬.
Haha, we’re striving to publish at least 2 videos per month 🤞
Looks fantastic!
Thanks!
Very nice work. I really like the desk
Glad you like it 🙂
That turned out great👍
Thanks!
Okay, love your workshop!!😊❤. That was a beautiful restore!
😄 Thank you so much!!!
Husky Furniture Inspection Passed With Flying Colors! You have Nice Techniques with Your Filming and Editing. There was Something Very Satisfying when You Gently Used a razor blade to Slice Off the excess Epoxy(?). Your Very Good with Color Matching Paint to the Wood on Your Repairs. A lot of Other Restorers Struggle.🐺🐺🐺
Haha, yes, she gave it the sniff of approval! It’s all about patience with color matching; I learned that from Melyssa, who is way better at blending. Sorry, I forgot to show that it was Bondo that was used to fill those gouges. Next time, we will have it in frame! 😄
You have done an excellent job on this piece of furniture. Your attention to detail is outstanding. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to your next video.😊
Thank you!! 😊
First time watching. Really enjoy the backdrop of plants, birds, etc. Great work!
🙏😄 thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
WOW!!!
😄
Great! Absolutely great job! And the quality of your videos is superb!
Thank you very much!
Nice job. It looks great!
Thanks!
Cool!!

Very unique piece..excellent job ❤
Thank you 😄
Great production value...very relaxing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Top notch work, and a pleasure to watch it play out. You've created a new treasure. Cheers from Oklahoma!
Thank you thank you, shoutout to you all the way over in Oklahoma!!
Nice video, lovely transformation of an unusual desk.
Thank you very much!
People really like the style of it, we refinished one a few months back as a gift
You always do a beautiful job with whatever you do, so I know this is going to turn out just as wonderful ❤
thanks Hanna 😄
Beautiful work! Great eye for detail.
🙏🏽🙂 I appreciate it!
Fantastic work Jason( and Melissa behind the scenes) looks like you found your groove! 👏
🛤️🤞🤞😄
My stress level just went wayyyy down. Thank you for another beautiful and relaxing ( for me, not so much you) restoration . You know your colors and it turned out magnificent.
That’s awesome! We’re so happy it helped to bring your stress down! It brings us joy to know the video is being received as intended!
I want to live in this backyard, even if seeing a snow dog in the "tropics" is weird lol I hope he gets to go on snowy vacations and frolic to his heart's content. Beautiful desk
Her lineage acclimated pretty good to this area because apparently 78° is fine for her, she also has a dedicated cooing fan just in case. she just turned 1 a few weeks ago! 🎉🐶🥳
@diytainment Yeah they do ok, it's just odd to my brain. I am neurodivergent though 🤷♀️ She's gorgeous. Some folks will fill kiddie pools with ice as a treat for snow dogs in warm weather (no water, just ice)
😮 that sounds like a good idea! They would both love something like that! Thanks maybe we will showcase them enjoying it on camera 😄
lol love the thumbnail 😂 great job
😂 did it catch your attention right away?
@@diytainment it did! right amount of humor ;) and the desk turned out great!
@@betmo 😆 they are just so ridiculous
Magnificent!! Not only are you a skilled woodworker but you are an excellent storyteller too - I am very envious of your filming and editing skills!! 😍👏🤩
😄 thank you!
Ahh...you were/are a footballer! :) Great fun with the dog. Beautiful desk when you were finished. Bravo.
Thank you! Yep was my favorite sport growing up in Jamaica, she loves playing fetch or at least her form of it where I have to pry the ball from her each time haha
Ha ha I love the way that lizard looked as if he was watching you spray shellac!
lol that one was a character just hanging out upside down 🙃 lol
I would look for another place to work. A lot of sanding dust will end up in the pool here. 😉
The work area is minimum 20 feet away from the pool, there is always stuff in it from the trees and what not but the skimmer works well just in case a little dusty happens to get in there. We appreciate you looking out tho 🙏🏽🙂
Please share who does the great camera work with us, a parent? spouse? friend? sibling? Their work is as appreciated as yours for the video!
🙏🏽😄 thank you, the camera work is done between my girlfriend Melyssa and I. I’ll let her know you enjoy her work 🙂
@@diytainment Thank you, she has a great eye!
Agreed 😄
Beautiful work. You made it look so easy. Glad Barry recommended you.
Thanks so much! 😊 welcome!
24:23 Just now realized that wasnt a plate of bbq you had just finished...
😂😂😂😂😂
OK… Wow, I’m back from dinner and finished the video… man that is fantastic… How could you not keep it? I have about five pieces that are about the same caliber from Denmark that I could not let go/my wife said I could keep them ha ha. But that’s a really beautiful piece. You have saved it from death for sure, thank you! Have you tried the technique of using a router when putting a new veneer on a piece? I’ve had very good success with it and it helps with being afraid of messing things up with a razor knife? It’s a suggestion not really a recommendation. I’ve had pretty good success. I’ve only done it twice though. But maybe find a little piece of wood and throw a little bit of veneer. It definitely takes away from the nerves after you’ve done a couple of times I was nervous the first time Big time.. anyway I’m rambling on you’ve done a marvelous job as in most of your videos. Have a wonderful night and thank you for your content. I appreciate it a lot.
😄 thank you! We actually had the router ready to go but was a bit worried about the angle on the edge messing things up so decided to take the razor blade route. It was also our first time applying new veneer. That 3m adhesive stuff was pretty easy to work with even tho we were overthinking things 😅
👍💕
😄 thanks
Why use grey bondo, and not a better matched wood putty for fill-ins?
We use Bondo because of its superior strength, especially when it comes to molding the edges. Unfortunately, the activator is blue in the newer containers, but it doesn’t really bother us because it will be painted over in the end.
Promo>SM 😀
I’m lost 😅
Beautiful!!
Thank you! 😊
Sent by Barry❤ you made this piece so beautiful and your camera person is fantastic as is your dog👏👏
😄 thank you!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Such a stunning design to begin with but you took up to another level!! Great find AND great work!! Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
I have to go out for dinner, I will watch the rest of your video when I get back, but I have to say I want your backyard….. badly.. it’s beautiful I will comment later..
😄 enjoy dinner!
Great job with this desk. It turned out gorgeous!

Officially went back & spotted the level in the fence. Desk came out fantastic guys!!! Was nice chatting with everyone. Stay Blessed, Dirty Jersey out!!!
Random wasn’t it? I wonder how hard they tried to get it out lol. Thanks again Mike!
Beautiful ,,,
🙏🏽😃
What a beautiful restoration. Honestly a piece that will look in every home 😊
Agreed! Thank you!!
You haven’t posted in a long time?! Hope u are ok!
Hey, thanks for checking in on us. We’ve had to work on pieces off-camera to cover bills since TH-cam isn’t generating much income yet. We recently had time to start making content again, but Melyssa’s grandmother got sick and, sadly, passed away. It’s been rough, especially with driving back and forth from Florida to Philadelphia to see her during her last few days. Now, we’re back in Philly for her funeral. We hope to get back to creating content for you all soon.
Ohhhhh noooo condolences to you and her family. 🙏🏾 Philly?! That my neck of the woods. I’m in Wilmington. Florida to Philly driving.. yikes! Y’all the real MVPs. I understand the issue with you tube.. to make money, they want you to post every 5 mins but creating content, editing etc take houuurrrrsssssss. It’s not always practical when life be life-ing. Any who …just glad y’all are ok. I’ll be looking forward to the next video. Safe travels and if driving on 95/495 in Delaware watch out for the po po… they been very ticket happy 👎🏾
Thank you 🙏🏽 just seeing this. Everything went as smooth as it could go. Hoping to continue our projects soon!
