    Awesome vid! I’ve got a Hobie i11 and have been considering buying the new Mirage Lynx. I think you convinced me😁!
    I’ve visited Salt Springs CG in my truck camper. Loved it!

      I bought one for my wife’s Birthday, we liked it so much we got another one. They stack on top of another, so we can put both on the roof rack. Thanks for watching.

    They look fun. The mirage drive should lock itself when you insert it though. I think you unlocked it in your demonstration.

    Great Video & review guys, I have a choice of the 2 colors, which one do you prefer? Is there one that takes scratches & Knocks better, would love any feedback 👍

    • @FLWeekendWarriors
      @FLWeekendWarriors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like the brighter colors because other boaters may be able to see you better - Florida is very crowed these days. We have some scratches on the gray one already and you don’t see them until you get up close. I was going to get another papaya color one, but all they had left was 3 grey out of the 20 that came in.

    Thanks for sharing! Where did you guys purchase your Hobie Lynx?
    I have a deposit on one but it wont be available until Oct or Nov

      We got them at Economy Tackle in Sarasota. They had just received 25 when I purchased the 1st one. When I went back to get the 2nd one two weeks later they only had 3 left.

    • @joseleysa5137
      @joseleysa5137 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FLWeekendWarriors I think is in $800 range. I did a DIY and only spent $130.00. it's really fun and i forgot my mean purpose to go fishing, lol haha, It bring back the good old days. i feel like a 20 year old young man.

    I have a Lynx, I thought about adding the sail but in our state, they make you register any boat with a sail and pay extra taxes. So I will stick to leg power. 😢

    • @FLWeekendWarriors
      @FLWeekendWarriors  ปีที่แล้ว

      What state is that? We use the Bimini all the time, so a sail would get limited use. In FL we only have to register if it has a motor over a certain HP

    They look awesome. I am a bit surprised that you paddle around with alligators. You certainly would do that around crocodiles in Australia.

    • @FLWeekendWarriors
      @FLWeekendWarriors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crocs would scare me too. We are not too concerned about the gators unless they are over 7 feet long. We now have a gator hunting season in Florida, which helps manage the populations of the big ones, but the population keeps growing and they are everywhere. Pretty common that they end up in people’s swimming pools or eat someone’s pet.

    where did you get your "sticky buns"?

    • @FLWeekendWarriors
      @FLWeekendWarriors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They go by a bunch of different names, wet buns, lazy Bunz & saddle floats. Some of the ones on Amazon are really crappy and small and you need to use two of them. The best are from our people in our boat club called Lazy Bunz. Just google it. West Marine also has them, but they call them saddle floats. The West Marine ones are good also, just slightly thinner than the Lazy Bunz.
