Thank you so much for saying that! It always makes me happy when I see comments that say the talking is preferred over the music or they dont like a lot of music. A lot of people aren't big fans of a lot of music, which is awesome because im not either. I have to say this, I'm so chatty in real life, just ask my husband and daughter. But when I film, as far as talking, I just can't. Maybe one of these days I'll be more chatty in my videos, but it's weird. I can talk all day long if you are in front of me. But doing it in video is hard. I love Danielle's personality.

I love all the things that you put up onto your TH-cam channel… But my personal preference is for the long videos. I like to put something on and have it playing in the background while I go about doing other things around the house. I get annoyed by videos that are 10,15 or 20 minutes long Because I have to keep stopping and going over and finding something new and have it start. And, I love it when you’re chatty throughout the videos! Love it! Thanks, Danni!!!!!

I like the idea of shorter and the long videos too! I love your long chatty videos, sometimes the really long ones I have to set aside time to watch or watch while I'm doing stuff like folding laundry. I really like the clothes rod, with the space above it you could also put a shelf for extra storage while using vertical space instead of floor space. Just an idea! Love your videos!!

To answer your talking question - I prefer talking videos because I often am doing dishes or baking or folding laundry when watching, so videos with just music mean that I miss a lot what is actually happening or lose the clues to look back at the screen to see what is going on. Keep on talking.

Hey Dani! You can unscrew the aerator from your faucet and clean it. In fact, it's a good idea to do it periodically to clear out any debris from your water lines.
I feel you on the brown kitchen! Mine is orange. 😂 When we moved in it had orange tinted light, orange tinted wood cabinets, orange tinted wood floors, and even the countertops are kind of orangey granite. 😅
I replaced all the lighting, and we saved up and are having the cabinets refinished early next month. We will have to save up again to refinish the floor, but I’m hoping to fall in love with my kitchen a bit more with each step!
I like your short videos, but I actually love your longer ones more! There’s never too much of your company! You can alternate. That would be cool.

Hi There! I love your new shelves and lanterns. They look great. I like your idea to hang that clothes rod in your room. It must feel good to have more hanging space for your clothes. I'm going to steal your idea to use the lint roller on throw pillows. Lint rollers also work on lamp shades. I'm also going to get some lime juice for my sparkling water. Sounds delish! Danni, please keep your long chatty videos, because I absolutely love and look forward to them. Weather girl Carol is definitely a keeper, as she make me laugh out loud. 🤣 Anyhow, you did a great job refreshing your house. Please be careful though when nailing or screwing anything into your walls because you could accidentally hit a buried electrical cable or a water pipe and that could be dangerous and costly. Get Ian’s help to check first with an electricians tool that locates hidden wiring and also maybe get him to check that your levels are straight before you permanently attach things too. Also regards your bathroom taps, did you know you can unscrew the tip of your silver tap and soak it in a little bowl of vinegar water to clean it, those types of taps usually have a little mesh filter in the tip which you can take out and scrub with a toothbrush to clean and then put back in the tip before re-attaching it. With the clothing rail, I have to be honest and say, although you did a good job putting it on the wall, they aren’t to my taste, but that’s because I don’t like to see clothing hanging all the time, so prefer them put away behind closed doors in a wardrobe or closet. Can't remember if you are near an Aldi. I just wanted to say for anybody that is the fabric cubes at Aldi are amazing quality and a decent price I've seen several different sizes come through there so watch the special buys but that is definitely something that has held up over the years with my kids the Dollar tree ones definitely do not hold up. I also really like the sterilite shoe containers and whatever like the next size up is of those that have lids that snap on the ones that are more like rectangular and not like rounded corner edges. Those are definitely my favorite toy containers I feel like the shoe size bins are good for smaller amounts of things and it's nice because it's see-through so you can kind of see from the side if there's a particular item you need. And the bigger size is perfect for a like Barbie sized dolls and action figures too. I like that a lid can snap onto it too. And then you can stack them. I have put them on bookcases before and I actually had two stacked on a wire cube shelf and it fit perfectly I think the cubes are probably the 12 inch cube size. 🤷♀️

Also in bathe: my sister in law did a finish and painted her kitchen and bathroom counters. It’s been over 10 yrs and still looks great! Look into that. Can’t remember if she put like veins in it so it looks like marble or what she did. But it’s an option.

When you were talking about the water in your dishwasher being cold and it not drying the dishes, I just had to laugh because we had the exact same problem and this very day my husband installed a dishwasher float switch,and it works now. It is a super easy fix. I love both your long and short videos, but I think it would actually be advantageous to you to do more short ones so that you could increase the monetization.❤

Maybe consider painting the bathroom countertop if it's laminate. Beyond Paint-All in One for counters or Rust-oleum for counters are good brands.
I have been searching for a good long cleaning video to get me up and moving on this rainy day. So happy to be cleaning with you today. I was not a fan of my kitchen, it’s a galley kitchen with 5 doorways in it, yeah it’s a hot mess. I wasn’t happy with it until I put new backsplash and painted it white. If your kitchen won’t be done for 5 plus years, have you thought of peel and stick back splash or bead board? And contact paper for the counter in marble to brighten it and or paint it with that new countertop paint. That could help you like that space until you get what you really want. Love your long or short videos. I just think your personality is fun to watch. Enjoy the day. 😊

We're having storms so I just got electricity back and seen your video 👏👏! I trained my kids early on to put their socks in the laundry basket, my husband just did it on his own.🤷🏼♀️ I hope you read my edit, i would put a couple shelves on the wall next to your bathroom mirror like the ones in your dining room, just a thought🤗 Those faucet tip unscrew and I clean mine by soaking in CLR or you could use vinegar.

I feel your kitchen pain Dani, I also have an ugly odd kitchen situation. We will not be doing it up as its basically a waste of money, the whole house needs to be renovated. Like the back half ripped off and redesigned renovated. Hopefully we will move in the next year or 2.

A cabinet tip is make the bottom shelf the lowest and then use a riser. Helps reaching everything so much better

When you find dirty socks. Throw them in trash or throw them down stairs. Just don’t wash them. And when they are looking for them. Tell them in trash or in basement dirty. And if they want them. They need to clean them. It worked for my kids, cause I made them wash, dry, fold and put away. I love ur channel, love the goofy things you say. U really make me laugh. Can’t wait for the next video. Hugs to all! 🌹👍🥰🌷🌷💜💜 FYI just a tip-you can unscrew the tip of the faucet but be careful you don’t loose the rubber ring inside and go down your drain. There is a filter that strains the water of carbon and sometimes it builds up there. I use an old tooth brush to clean the filter before replacing it back on the faucet. Also I use peroxide to soak the faucet shower head in a bag and let it sit for awhile. Your welcome!🤪🤪

Your kitchen cabinets are beautiful! I agree that the countertops and the floor makes it more dark than it already is, but the real wood of the cabinets is really gorgeous.
I have toilet soap too. Shampoo, hand soap, any cleaner I don't like. 😅 I haven't bought toilet scrub in years.

If it were possible to watch you everyday, I would. I was wondering what was in the cupboards in the dining room, I think they would make a really good pantry.........you would have more space in the kitchen and the dining room is not that far away. When you tried to show us the faucet in the bathroom, you could have placed a mirror underneath and filmed it that way..... Love your husband, he is the sweetest.......

I don't do fabric cubes anymore! They get disfigured. I even got some good ones from Amazon, and still nope. I get the stiff fabric baskets that have wire to get it to keep the form. They look great in the cube storage and very sturdy!
For some reason, my cat loves to scratch fabric cubes! She has loads of scratchers all over the house that she also uses, but fabric cubes start to look sad quickly

I recently decided to deep clean my fridge. I took out the top piece of glass to wash in the sink because I didn't think it was getting clean with just spray cleaner. While I was washing it the glass shattered into a million pieces! Huge mess everywhere! I was lucky I didn't get seriously injured! Next time I'll leave it dirty! LOL
It took me so long to watch this video because it was an hour long. I have so many subscriptions and I watch the shortest videos first. I'm looking forward to shorter videos in the mix!

I want/need to ask a question of Danni and the audience. My hubby and I are in our mid fifties and both retired so we are home together ALL of the time. I am a person who likes change especially with decor and rearranging my furniture. This drives my husband crazy. He wants everything to stay the same forever and says Im strange for changing it up. My question is am I strange for doing this or is this more common?
Oh goodness no, this isn't strange at all. In fact your situation reminds me so much of my situation ha my husband is the same way, he doesn't like things change around too much, it drives him nuts especially when I'm reorganizing all the time 🤣 my dad's like that too, he hates change he wants everything to be the same and my mom likes to switch it up, she likes to rearrange and move things around or put new pieces of decor up. I think your situation is very common, but it can be a tough situation sometimes. My mom tries to ease my dad into changes and I try to do the same thing with Ian especially with reorganizing. I love this comment by the way, I think so many people can relate to this and in my opinion I think a lot of people would say it's very common.
