In new fields that are being developed near Lake Baikal and in Yakutia, natural gas consists of many components, such as methane, propane, helium, and others, so it needs to be deeply processed before being used. A plant for gas processing and polymer production is currently under construction in the city of Svobodny. Also, the construction of new deposits and distribution networks in China has not been completed. Completion of all related projects is scheduled for 2024-2025.
