Very good points were made by Anthony Gargano, and Jonesy is such a plus for the Flyers franchise. The fact of the matter is that this team is still within their rebuilding phase, but seeing the team of young players become a competitive team was exciting for the fans. There are more changes that needs to take place, but we are fortunate to have a nucleus within the current roster that can grow together. I also love the job done by the coaching staff with John Tortorella as the HC. Tort's will bench players when they are not contributing on both sides of the ice, and he doesn't care how much those players are being paid. Tortorella seems to be disliked by many who post on these sites, but he is a coach who always wanted to coach the Flyers, even when he was coaching other teams (NY Rangers, in particular). Tort's is a Flyers coach who should have been here several years ago. The Flyers will have a good future with many of the good young players on the current roster. They are a legitimate team again.
Am a 65 year old man. I was 13 ,14 years when the flyers were winning the cups. This flyers team reminds me of the 80s team. They are young and not supported to be this good. I was Is embarrassed to be a flyers fan last year. I still put my flyers hat on every game day cause they are still my team. This year I am so proud of these players. They showed that hockey is a real team sport. Don't need superstars in hockey. If every player does his job. Then they can beat any team
They can't afford Konecny or tippet. They can't afford nic seeler. By August the entire league will be insolvent. Watch them change the rules to 4 on 4 and roster limit of 14. It's a figure skating sham already
If they flyers win tonight, Pittsburgh is going to the playoffs !!!! Get to the offseason and offload these overdue players. We have watched these guys lose for too many years now. There needs to be a new voice in veteran leadership. Couterier, Atkinson, Risto, Johnson, Laughton, Stall..... Get rid of fabaree while you can. There are lots of good young players here... tippett, frost, york , cates, Brink, Forester, etc, etc ... but they need to learn from Players who have won in their careers.
Another thing that kills me . Foerster isn't, and has never been a goal scorer ..one yr in juniors he had like 36 goals ..for Junior hockey that's not alot..
Might start getting a star by holding those accounts for letting go of Gauthier for a small, injury-susceptible Drysdale. There were arguably hundreds of better choices, definitely ‘a good-sized bunch’. Gauthier IS a generational talent. We got Drysdale… who’s gonna get slammed again and again and I’d be surprised if he doesn’t retire within 5 years of an IR plagued career.
Great interview! Love Jonesey and our Flyers

Until they get some snipers I reserve my judgement , they already lost one before he got to play for them
Michkov is a sniper
M-I-C-H-K-O-V
Yup, that late first round pick is really going to help....
They will f it up
We need number one center and not 5' 8 ' Guy we have too Many small forwards and that's why we dont the puck from the rebounds 🏒🤔
Cayden Lindstrom 🤞
We’re so screwed if Jonesy being completely honest
The entire NHL will fold by July
The Flyers can't afford equipment never mind players
What goal scorer do the flyers expect to score lots of pp Goals? None .
Michkov in a few years.
Um, didn’t you just give a potential sniper away bc Torts?
I thought it was because of Hayes?!?!
Addition by subtraction … get rid of ALL the holdovers from the Giroux era…

Have the puck

That kind of Guy Who need good center something we are weak but Foerster have a good shot sure
I think Foerster can be a great middle sixer for us when were up and running. Hell he could be a great top 6 guy
We better land a star in the off-season
Who do you have in mind?
How would that be possible outside of the draft?
They need to develop their own star.
I mean if he's under age 23 yes lol

Tig iginla or Liam greentree with the first pick
