Don't worry, we had lots of amazing real Italian food while in Italy, but they kids still always ask for McDonald's in every country we go. For those that have been to multiple McDonald's around the world, what is your favorite location?
The Bacon and all the meat was definitely better, and the deserts were insane! Bottled beer was a first...had canned beer at other European ones but not bottles.. stay tuned for our Dubai video series starting tomorrow!!
Italy has better deserts for sure! The ingredients are ( although still not healthy) definitely healthier than in the USA for their food. I don't know why they add extra unnecessary additives in the US...
Italians don't use the word marinara to refer to a red tomato sauce. If you use the word marinara in italy, they probably think you're talking about a seafood dish 😂 because the word marinara in Italian means "marine style"
Yeah just pomodoro, which means tomato, or sugo di pomodoro, which means tomato sauce. I've noticed that Americans misuse a lot of Italian words, some other examples are pepperoni, which is a vegatable. Or the word bimbo, which means little boy in Italian. Or the word latte which just means milk😂not a starbux order, and many other examples I can't think of right now

Because I heard the word marinara used a lot in American media and whatnot but it's not really a word that's used to refer to a tomato sauce in italy. In the south they usually use that word when you order a pasta with seafood or a pizza that has anchovies on it and no cheese, stuff like that. I've been on road trips all over Italy, it's my fav country
@@Oobe It is funny to see the differences! Most jars of tomato pasta sauce sold in US have a big label with marinara on it hahah. We want to explore the South on our next trip. Any recommendations?

I don't think it's so crazy to check out... especially if you have children 👦👧... interesting to see the different foods McDonald's offers in other countries 🤗
@dianaheggenstaller5317 yes we tried all kind of things we've never seen before so it was neat to see the differences. I didn't feel so bad trying it considering how busy it was with Italians 😂 you would love the desserts there!!

What a unique experience. The food looks much better than in the US. I was happy to see someone order the crispy bacon burg!
