KTSC is now a KRMA simulcast. KLRU began as a KLRN simulcast when it was realized KLRN didn't cover the entire Austin and San Antonio markets, then the stations were separated. Many PBS stations use alternative brandings, such as Austin PBS for KLRU, Panhandle PBS for KACV, Basin PBS for KTPB, and Rocky Mountain PBS for KRMA. KTLC was a service of OETA when it was a public station, once and again commercial station KAUT. KDTN is now Daystar.
Man this video is great, you have done an awesome compilation. I loved watching the stations have an interesting branding at the time, especially the 70s and 80s ones! Thank you for this video and glad to help 👍
i feel so bad for the stations that just didnt have their logos anywhere to be found couldve been some SERIOUSLY good (or terrible) stuff we couldve seen
That was a *really* good video, The editing was fantastic, The little tidbits were excellent, It was just one of the best on this channel. And I hope that the PTLE finale will be better! (being patient on that btw)

You forgot WNVC-TV
@@aaronclemente5086 WNVT/WNVC were meant to be under the same branding
Ok I guess
You also forgot KUAC-TV and Arkansas PBS
I Put & Fix This For Torromorrow Expect WNVC...
Get It?
Thanks for making the 1986 WOSU ID *the* logo for this-this helped define my Central Ohio childhood well.
2:47 didn’t know my local pbs station had such a peaceful bumper

10:05 is my local except I’m more near Joplin (only 10 mins away) so I receive the KOZJ callsign.
Awesome video Alden! Honestly PBS stations have some of the interesting IDs, and it's cool to see a huge collection of all or almost every of them!
learned that the 1981 Alaska Public Broadcasting logo had the same music as WXEL from the 80s
DELICIOUS editing!!! Life would be so much better if TV was just 70s computer animated PBS-styled logos
12:28 FIRE
This is fucking amazing. I also like how in the intro, you put the the station's logo in the corresponding state.
Also 30:24 my station.

25:27 is my station. That's not the logo I grew up with though. Also it's called WUCF now.

If scary/cheesy logos are still a thing, that Iowa ident was pretty cheesy.

i remember hearing it first on there and wishing i knew the source. now i do and i'm eternally grateful for Don Voegeli's amazing work
2:17 My state, My home.
Idea: You should remaster all of your old PTLE episodes, considering that a lot of the information and logos in them are VERY outdated.
pretty sick video as always
1 minute 58 second countdown (12 frames before 1:57) (first 8 frames have no audio)
WOUB, home of the “world’s worst weatherman” video.
*Nice.*
K & W: 5:21 16:36
The WHYY ident kept that awful music but at least it didn’t give anyone a seizure
That Logo was used in 1978-1982 and somehow they wanted to switch that normal logo with a seizure inducing logo.
22:53 yea my station (witf)
I think you forgot about the Arkansas Educational Television Network
One pibes from every pibe.
Oh hello Alden
22:27, WIPB
