- Come shop with mommy and Anna for Chloe's 9th birthday! Chloe is such a joy and I wanted to get her a few special things. We went to a couple of fun toy stores and to the American Girl Doll Store in Rockefeller center. My sweet Anna was my shopping chaperone. She also kept me from getting lost 😅.

I adore this for so many reason. Your thoughtfulness in choosing gifts, appreciating subway art, toys (it shows in your children too). I love that you took us in some local shops. Those are always a treat to find when I visit NYC. How you happened upon a parade??? if that isn’t classic NYC I don’t know what is. And of course the American Girl store. My daughter is grown but visiting Chicago and letting my daughter pick out a doll is one of my core memories. Over the years she ended up with several. She had Kit and Addie & lots of their accessories. What a wonderful day. 🎂

You are so very hip and cosmopolitan - you fit right in, in NYC / I guess from living in San Diego. My son lives in S Ca and he’s very artsy as well including his foods.
I lived in the greater DC area, but I never got used to riding the metro and so many people! Plus you are up to date with all the latest. You remind me of my artist, interior designer, architect, engineer daughter - she loves and notices the details like mosaics - she would enjoy everything you looked at and admired and she loves to shop.
So glad you could see the parade for a short time. My family went to the Macy’s Day parade.

I came from small towns, but as a military spouse, I lived in many places and Europe, and have done some extensive travel, but the small town never left me.

I love that you always appreciate the architecture, skyline, nature/parks, subway & street art! Obviously NYC isn't perfect but I think people let that take away from how beautiful it is. I'm on Long Island & LOVE being in the city, I have many friends that hate it but we have everything that people don't like about NYC except for the subway. I feel like the beauty out weights everything else & I love that you embrace the everyday beauty you walk past that many overlook 💖

Loved the Scottish parade! I’ve purchased many Felicity dolls and her companion ( can’t remmber her name) 18th century dolls. Back when American Girl was new (er). What a fun outing! I loved seeing inside the little bookstores and boutiques. Im catching up ol okser videos. Still a bit new to channel.

Yes, I do miss the dolls from the 80s, they still have a few historical dolls but not as many. Still I appreciate the “girlhood” of the dolls. Barbies feel a little too adult to me.

Yes! Naomi has Molly and Pearl has Samantha. They don’t have many accessories but they really love their dolls.
I've recently watched one of your videos stating children should start early with piano/instruments etc. Did you have to look around very much for instructors that would take them young? I'm noticing a lot of places only starting at age 6
We had a Suzuki instructor in San Diego that allowed them to start early. But even if you can’t find that in your area there is a lot of instruction online to at least get started. That’s a new thing in the internet era.
