- In this video I go over my first aid kit for backpacking. There are a number of things needed for your backcountry hunting first aid kit to make sure you stay safe. Putting together an ultralight backpacking first aid kit is easy and fairly inexpensive, but take a little thought. A hunting first aid kit may need a few different things as knives are handled frequently while field dressing animals. I'll go over my hunting first aid kit essentials in this video to help you put together your first aid kit for backpacking or backcountry hunting.

Thank you and thanks for watching!
Great info.
Thank you!
My gf is a part of a backpacking grouping (for ladies only) and asked them first aid ideas and i was shocked at how under prepared the responses were. Guess when we’re hunting too we place ourselves in a lot of damgerous scenarios
For sure! There are a lot of things that can go wrong in a hurry, and good to be prepared for them.
Would you be interested in doing a review on one of my first aid kits that I sell. ?
Thanks for reaching out! Shoot me an email at backwoodspursuit.info@gmail.com with more info on your kit and I'll take a look at it. Thanks!
They say you pack your fears, and you've given me a few more fears to pack for. You don't mention the tweezers and scissors that I think I see. In addition, I carry a disposable thermometer, ibuprofen, and anti-diarrheal meds.
Haha!! That may be the case! I guess I tend to be more on the "better safe than sorry" mentality. I also realized I forgot to mention those tweezers and scissors in my kit, but yes, there are some there. Not a bad idea to carry those other things as well. Thanks!
@@BackwoodsPursuit Here's the disposable thermometers I use: www.ideastage.com/NEXTEMP-Thermometer-Non-Woven-Kit-786284029?gclid=Cj0KCQjwgJv4BRCrARIsAB17JI5rC25XwLNpPSbJqhlFGfQvRrZGFDDmpSo6-JrzSLoIHi6Qm764pg8aArAvEALw_wcB
