But on the SEA server the way to use Lone Druid is very different, they only play with bears, not with Lone druid itself
A good counter to ld i found is acrually elder titan. Ld gets his armors usually through agility so its considered as base armor and et passive just removes his armors and with a disable et can easily kill ld. Alsp another counter to necro is oracle he has 2 skills to negate the scythe

Can you make a video about heroes not to pick with the current meta? Like, this hero is bad because of the current game climate or dont pick this against this meta hero. I don’t see any videos talking about low win rate heroes, its all about the high win rate and not about mmr losing heroes. And maybe add some recommendation on when to use it in the right situation.

Honestly, LD has so many counters whether through picks or items that's not even funny, because an auto attack reliant hero that doesn't burst either, with no mobility escapes will just naturally be easily countered. Things not mentioned in the vid of the top of my head:
Huskar - , you rekt LD in mid, force him out of lane early on even.
Lina - you can poke wave + him + bear with good Qs, if not, u still got so much range that he should struggle ever getting close to u with bear, and can just right click it to death. At lvl 6 he either takes R, and uses it before stunned & combo'd and he dies.
Troll 1 - hit E and make him & bear miss, if he gets close his bear or he dies vs troll anyway.
Comp wise, supports that make moving on the ground difficult for a hero that hates buying bkb - so from Veno, to Willow, to Warlock, to even Lich, stuff like that.
Could think of a few others but you get the picture. Simple items like a halbert vs the bear will also screw him over. So how's the hero such a menace when he has a billion counters? Cause the hero enable one to play in ways that can mitiagate these counters & possibly turn the tables on 'em in the right hands. Like vs your Lina mid that pokes you + bear down, you find your hero too low at some point to lane, what you do? Nearby side camp to regen the hero, then quickly back to lane & making sure you make her use her mana on bear constantly too but never let it die & resummon it when low, that way you keep her constantly struggling to use all your mana to keep ya down, until you get diffusal then she's screwed. Ofc, it's not a favorable match up where you can just stomp (unless super lucky with roots...) but just giving a sample of how to manage a bad match. There's also quite the variety of items you can build on bear to help deal with many threats, from orchid/bloodthorn to bringing the old MoM back early, to even maelstorm, to the usual harpoon, the earlier AC + basher when there's gonna be lots of melees fighting, to skadi for anti heal & stickin power, etc. In the end it comes down more to timings than anything, as the hero doesn't play very well from behind so the ultimate counter remains succession ganks IMO - there's no work around him dying twice x2, even IF the fight turns out favorable for his team, cause then he's out of action for at least 1 min.
1:30 that's why I always have E at side lane. LD can buy BKB for teamfight it's not problem. Best counter picks : Phoenix (can't broke egg, good at lane, % damage), OD (hide bear can't dispel, hight damage).
Can you do a video/analyse a video on "zoo" heroes like Brood, Visage, Lycan, Beastmaster in the current meta?
Honestly the old school counter of life stealer is still very valid of all the match ups I hate maybe not in lane but everywhere else I hate dealing with LS

I love playing brewmaster against lone druid. He has no way to kill brewlings and brewmaster just lifts the bear and he becomes completely useless. By the time he gets aghs and starts to split push and rat, with aghs and lvl 25 fear, the bear won’t even be able to hit buildings.

I've been having alot of luck with mid razor in general, and he's considered a direct counter to slardar. I'm pretty sure this works well, hoping for a chance to test it. I think razor could also be decent against ld early with his ability to suc the bear (assuming they follow the build and dont take an early point in roar), but unless he really wins that lane im not sure about his chances in the mid game.
Tbf, LD operates on a similar mindset in that he wants to snowball. He can operate w/o it too, but so can Razor, you can build many things on it... Tho' LD can jungle farm fairly decently, so he has more catch potential.
@@MgMast3r I think the main thing putting LD ahead in that matchup is his ability to push towers. razor can get aghs eventually but hes not great at defending towers and hes awful at taking them.
I main Necro and dont struggle with the LD matchup - but I also DO almost always go for blink. Imo shroud to get your blink CD and/or combining with the mobility of death seeker is super overlooked. That amount of mobility when you can heal and reengage or bail out at low HP is so amazing. Plus the chase is disgusting combined with shroud slow talent.

The best current knowledge to get is by watching high rank streamers. I recommend Qojqva for mid players, Gorc for safelaners and dubu for general supports.
Watching these guys wont show you the basics of dota2 but will greatly help your playstyle when it comes to meta heroes, how to counter them, positioning etc.
Now, when it comes to this channel it really just summarize the main thing about an update or dota in general. It helped me back when i was 3-4k bracket, told me about making sure the lanes are consistently pushing, when to join ganks, item timings and so on. BUT from my experience after using this channel for the past 2 years (i think) when it comes to higher rank games above 5k (mine is 5.5) there is a lot more to be added in these video. Im sure he could add more but chose not to because its easier that way.
For example, this channel rarely i mean RARELY touches on support roles which are extremely important in these higher brackets. Back when dazzle still has item cd reduction from his ult, this channel focuses on how dazzle could be a carry and dismisses entirely how broken he could be with a rushed halberd. Thats one example i could think of. Oh, as to why wyvern counters LD, it has always been a counter to LD. LD will always be close to his bear, blink in and ult LD making his bear kill him, he will try to dodge but the chances of him making a mistake is wayy higher.
So to conclude, if you are 3-4k bracket this channel's video on positioning, when to push those kind of things are really good but once you're hitting 5-6k i recommend just watching streamers.

LD has plenty of counters through heroes and even items since he hates building bkbs, from making the hero & bear's life hard to move throughout a heavy AoE CC comps, slows can suffice, to the usual hard cc/insta bursting hero if u catch him out of ult, and many others, but as someone who plays him too now, I realize what makes the hero very strong is that while it gets countered by many things ,it also has ways of dealing with most of 'em. From getting life back on the nearby neutral camp vs lina match ups who poke u with Q, surviving lane then turning it around her once u get diffusal, to being outright pushed out of lane vs Huskar, yet then able to turn it around vs him too with shard E, even interrupting his ult if u get the timing down, etc.
This ofc , makes him highly dependent , way more than most other heroes on who's piloting him. I have good ways when I'm all rdy & motivated to carry when I stomp with him even when I get all these counterpicks vs me, then days where I look like a total clown vs picks I'd otherwise stomp ~ I feel that this is also cause one of the 1st few things you learn about the hero is all the "DONTS" that can rly screw you over, like dying twice in succession thus having bear on cd, careful how you position or even reveal the hero when they got stuff to jump on ya, etc. If one as LD screws up, he'll die vs A LOT of things, but if he's aggressively cautious enough, that's when the hero's power feels overwhelming even vs counterpicks.

How exactly the counters can be picked when supports play the major role
Almost all game up till immortal tier , supports are forced to pick 1st
And bitter truth is lower tier noobs think he’s pro for himself and they pick pugna, dazzel, warlock, AA, silencer etc and do nothing just roaming around like clowns and feeding to LD, Sladar , spec or other meta hero’s
Now how do you think of this counter

I believe you are supposed to pick these heroes if you face a certain hero a lot. Depending what mmr bracket you are, you will face a lot of slardars, so pick the supports that are good against him, for example.
You will not get the match up you want every game, but as you said you are first picking aka picking blindly into the enemies, so realistically its throwing a dice you get a good matchup.
In reality if any of the heroes mentioned are in your hero pool, just play these heroes more currently and you should increase your mmr :)
Muerta is so hard to play against with LD in the late game, she just 2 shots the hero or the bear. Ridiculous, nerf her ult already

LD is just broken, ye ye you can counter him with support picks but they are picking first and druid is last picking so actually you cant do that. The bear at min 14 have diffu, treads = 15 armor 3k hp, root, and high movement speed and high dmg. There is literally no hero in game that can match this stats...
Weird you wouldn't mention troll as a counter to Slardar.

I dont know man, every patch everyone use meta heroes, meanwhile me i just spam meepo and arc , from crusader 1 i am now at ancient V
I have 70% winrate as a meepo and 65% as a arc,
May I know how long you took for the grind to ancient V? I'm also learning to play these heroes as well but feels kind of struggled at around 3k. Any tips to share?

yeah lycan is really good
Anything that can aoe dmg, especially if it has attack and/or move speed slow for both you & wolves can ruin your life, so many supports, Jakiro comes to mind 1st who's pretty popular rn on 4 & 5.
There's also gyro core who does aoe dmg fairly often that kills wolves, and sven who basically kills both wolves & your jgl fast with his cleave. And ofc Phoenix destroys most solely auto attack reliant heroes, as usual. But that's the general idea.
IMO, I find the hero underwhelming in lower & mid pubs, it's likely mostly strong in the higher brackets when ppl know how to play around his strengths. For instance, u got a specific fight uptime with R, otherwise you like a big walking creep. So that's 110 cd at lvl 1, with 25 ult duration. During the cd, your team has to understand that you can't help much in fights, and in the grim reality of pubs, they'll pick fights randomly whenever.
No such thing as free mmr when every game you get griefing cores that throws the game
If LD is caught by lc then press roar on your bear, so LD will also roar.
