The 'Going insane to stay sane' is a quote from another BTS song but I suddenly can't remember what it's called ugh. If I remember I'll come back and edit this post. This is something he wrote while in the world was in 'Lock Down' and he was in a depressive mood fighting all his dark thoughts. Hence the Dancers and him all in black and the way they act eg pushing him back into the box, towering over him, the parts where they are like zombie trying to crawl at him to bring him back down. But he escape's the downward dark thoughts emerges on his feet in white showing he's real tattoes on the back of his neck, he's free.
This is art lyric's, music and dance telling his fight within himself when he was feeling down and his eventual triumph.
I am by far NOT a K-pop fan. I don't even consider this to be K-pop, solo Jimin is in a class beyond K-pop. This will be his crossover moment. Watch. This is Jimin's Billie Jean album. Looking forward to following his solo career.
