If it clear marketers and records owners ripped this man to pieces. Juju Rock, Wedding Bell and Oju ogun laye were supposed to make him to be very very rich. As a kid in the early 90s, those albums were very popular, so they actaully sold. Thank God for his life though. He is still alive to tell his story.
The interviewer is very attentive and matured in his questions if it were to be Asabe Afrika, the guy will messed the whole thing up with his unnecessary questions
Micho Ade is a legend. His first music I listened to was Eyin Àgbà Eyin Ọ̀dọ́ on Ondo Radio 711. Then I thought it was King Sunny Ade and I have followed all his music since then. The first time I saw him face to face was when I visited him in his office beside DAlberto at Òkè-Àdó Ibadan in 1986. He was known as Sunny Ibadan before he later moved his office to Ìkòròdú Road near King Sunny Ade's Ariya Center Jibowu after Bobby Benson's Hotel.
This is a good answer to why the musicians were not able to pay royalty to the band members. I hope all journalists will stop asking questions about royalties for the former band members
Please don’t mention Asabe, here that guy is not a journalist. Agbaletu is an excellent interviewer, very calm and humble. He will go far in this business
But he said it himself his band performed and still performing in parties, shows and jumps where he made money to maintain his band even up to date. Isn't the popular music he made that earned him these parties and shows??
In the real sense, Apala Syncro by KSA was a game changer. The inspiration that led to that album is out of this World. The closest album to it is KSA's Ọdẹ má ti p'ogidan soko'.
Micho Ade ran away from gbenga adeboye that wanted to help him to be successful. Those that are successful in the industry do not depend only on prayers of their pastors or imams. While in the night those pastors or imams consult traditionalists. From this interview I can see that despite his many good music he didnt make much money.
Hmmm! Success is relative and it's clear this man is satisfied with what God enabled him to accomplish. He is a successful musician in his own right. It's the blessings of God that make rich without adding sorrow to it. Even if every musician there are should be helped by Gbenga Adeboye, could their success have been at the same level?. Ẹ jẹ́ ká gbà f'Ọ́lọ́run!.
The interviewer is well rooted in the history of Yoruba music industry, he knows a lot about the industry.
Micho ade is the one of favourite musician that I love so much❤..kudos to agbaletu❤❤❤...
Micho Ade really went through a lot in life.

There's no comparison between Dele Adeyanju and Asabe. Adeyanju is professional, respectful, calm, cautious, non interruptive and non opinionated
He's a great musician with a golden voice, long life to you sir and long life to the presenter , good Job 👍
Asabe Afrika is a clown.

Interesting and thoughtful interview. Long live Micho Ade
Micho Ade is a rugged musician ❤
He has a Son called Francis omoshinlade who I met in ibadan around year 2002/2003
Micho Ade sang so many popular music but he didnt make money from them. The upcoming musicians should learn from that.
But he said it himself his band performed and still performing in parties, shows and jumps where he made money to maintain his band even up to date. Isn't the popular music he made that earned him these parties and shows??
Kai very sound with dates of events!!!

Awesome 👌 🎉❤
The man was so factual
I never heard of this guy in juju music
With due respect ,, you might be right because only people who are 40yrs old and above can relate to his music , He is a legend in Juju music
Anyways I’m under 40 but I can relate to micho ade.
If you’re a diehard of juju , micho ade won’t be new to you
I'm just 35, but I know him very well. If you're a juju fan, you will know. He shared stage with the likes of Dayo Kujore of blessed memory.
Please where did Micho Ade location now
Micho Ade is living in Ibadan in Oyo state.
