One question that I always have is how the birds manage to digest whole pieces of an animal that other animals cannot. They must have a very tolerant stomach as well.
Look up "bird pellets", it's like a cat coughing up a hairball but instead it's all the indigestible parts of their prey like fur, bones, feathers etc.
Actually young birds doesn't digest food. So when the feces comes out, their parents eats them. The parents have acids inside of them or something that melts them down.
th-cam.com/video/kv1zn4ui4Wc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=KgapvKMqyZXDPGEe Here is korean kestrel. They hatched 6 babies but two of them died, 4 of them survived and go back to nature. This is two years's kestrel story.
That's not a Sparrow Hawk that I grew up knowing about. It looks a lot more like a Cooper's or Sharp-shinned Hawk or some variation of that. Sparrow Hawks (Kestrels) are more colorful than this bird.
Super mom😊😊❤
With no school and learning, birds make their nest. It's amazing.
they learn.... first year nesters typically fail

Highly acidic digestive juices in their stomach, that would do it, melt it down.

They don't. They regurgitate the fur and bones later.

@Anti Zenith Activist Oh come on...haha. No they don't! I'm afraid now.

Did all 5 make it to adulthood?Truly a good ecosystem to have provided enough food for all 5 to make it to adulthood!!!!!!!!!.
Yes, everyone survived. A male could feed 6-7.

Aw man. At 4:50, the one in the back wasn’t getting shit to eat.
That little bobblehead was just crying out for nothing at that point.
Made me sad.
You'll get used to it, the more bird-videos you'll see.
