Neat PvP. I've just been getting into it for the past season, and I've been wondering - what are some specific ways you'd nerf Madness Sorc or rebalance some of the specs specifically for PvP, without impacting their PvE or Solo performance too much?
its the best question i got by far for a long time, but very easy to answer, thats why nobody understand why SWTOR didnt touch it yet :D madness dosent need this much dmg reduction not just in pvp neither in pve , i mean madness has more dmg reduction than heavy armor users or sin tank.... with their talent choice giving them 5% dmg reduction when a dot ticks's stacking up 3 times....so actually always.... i would remove that whole stuff and it wouldnt hurt pve. Or i would incrase the cooldwon on overload which is a joke with 20 sec cd and 5 sec aoe root next to madness mobility and survivability..... or remove their stun, like most of the specs lost it with 7.0. or simply reduce their selfhealing, not much just a bit, like increase the cooldown on their instant self heal that dosent respect GCd, or slightly increase the CD on force speed. There are many many ways to nerf its pvp capabilities while in pve those changes are neglectable or dosent affect it at all. Clearly they dont touch the spec because they have no idea what pvp is like in their own game, i mean these are not resources heavy changes, yet they dont touch it. Every experienced pvper see and know madness is op as hell, its one of the biggest balance issues pvp wise, i mean there were tough ones, this one is on the same level as the toughest ones were in the past. even the players playing madness accept that they play a super op sepc.
@@faltun Interesting, interesting. What about buffing the PvP performance of some of the weaker specs? What would ya try? I hear Marksmanship isn't in such a good place.
Most of the time, yes.. Mara is more fun to play IMO however & far more rewarding. Jugg just does so much damage alongside some great survivability. The class is pretty OP if you ask me, it always kinda has been.
