The reason why we are encouraged to sing the hymn of Bagong pilipinas is because it will inspire us and it will instill in our minds and heart that we need to change ourselves and help support the country to change… it’s a reminder that we are all one. We move as one nation, we succeed as one nation and we can also fall as one nation without support from each other and from the government… The hymn also destroys the accustomed division that Filipinos are used to. The hymn is a reminder to Filipinos that they are not divided but work and support each other as one… The President cannot do everything by himself, he needs support from everyone. “tulong, tulong para paunlarin ang bayan”… and it should be done now… it’s been too long that we are longing for change, too long.. our country is already maybe 50 years behind other countries when it comes to infrastructure, economy and good way of life… when is it gonna happen? If we don’t act now, when?
