I loved what you said about "credit in the bank" as you're coming back from an injury and may be nervous and it's a good way to establish rhythm. In a similar line of thought, if you're coming back from injury and are focused on cardio to get match fit, what kind of nutrition is key to help you in such a way? I know if you're looking to gain muscle for the season, it's about getting your proteins in after lifts but what about nutrition to complement someone who's focusing hard on getting up to match fitness?

Is a garmin watch better than a whoop strap? A lot of people say it is more worth it since their no subscription. Garmin is just a one time purchase and you get everything forever.
Taff, I need some advice. I’ve recently seen a physio and have strained my groin. I usually play football during the week alongside interval training on the treadmill in the gym but obviously unable to do either. What sort of exercise/stretching would you recommend to help speed up the recovery?
If you’ve pulled your groin don’t stretch it at all mate. If you’ve pulled it recently then ice it and compress it. Start with isometric groin exercises if it’s pain free. Get a Swiss ball/football between your legs/knees/ankles and squeeze. Copenhagen variations (holds again) before moving on to concentric stuff 👍

Increase carb intake as you’ll be expending a lot. Ramp up on anti toxins too 👍
