Crash Bandicoot was my first ever video game, I loved playing it. When I got diabetes and met my best friend, who had cancer, we would play it all day in her hospital room. I need to find this again, sadly, she died five years ago, but Crash always helps keep her with me, especially Tornado Alley which was our favorite level.

I can relate..my late ex-gf passed away recently and we both loved crash bandicoot..her digital self is still on the "ironic" memory card..we never had a PS2 together but had our ps1..she is still there from crash 1 through crash bash..i have collected the old games once again after she passed..and got some new ones..will never know if she played GBA crash or wrath of cortex😕when we meet again she will tell me

Crash Bandicoot will always have a special place in my heart. My Mother passed away when I was rather young and we would play these together. So now I'm collecting the games to have the whole series. I love them so much.

2 hours of this walkthrough is actually just the loading screen. 45 minutes is actual gameplay. Or at least thats how i experienced it as a kid
Those long loading screen was Traveller Tales fault. Apparently, Namco wanted to add a minigame on the loading screen where player could collect wumpas to spent their times but Traveller Tales deleted the code of the minigame without any agreement from Namco and forgot to delete the loading part
I swear I thought every game I bout was something wrong
Original releases had longer loading screens because there was originally supposed to be a minigame there, but they had to cut it last minute after they found out Namco had a patent on that which prevented them from adding it ( Poke said this earlier but he got it a bit wrong ) , they didn't get to clean up the code though so the loading screens were long because of that.
On re-releases like the Platinum or Greatest hits versions that came after they cut it down alot
Im a dad. Bed bound recovering from surgery. In pain and a bit depressed. Somehow saw this and started watching. Got this for my kids when it came out in 2001. Recently divorced then so our time together was like solid gold and precious!!
They liked to play this at night with me. Seeing this again and reliving those memories after 23 years is very healing!!

This is so nostalgic. One of the first video games I have ever played. I'm glad I never got to the first boss battle. If I ever got farther into the game and got to the Air Elemental, I would have had nightmares for days. I still have the game, but it is so scratched up, you don't even get the Playstation text screen to pop up.
Camerobrine there's ways to fix a scratched disc. even a badly scratched one.

I think it is abit of a hit an miss game, does some things great while other things feel off - especially aesthetically imo. Honestly for me Crash was finished when Naughty Dog finished with it.

VenusaurChamp because I have so many memories of this game and they'll improve everything people hated about the game but from my experience is was freaking awesome I didn't mind the load times and stuff like that because I was having fun.
Exactly, to me i had just as much fun with wrath as I did with the first 3 games. Plus crash 3 was my favorite so of course I loved this game too. As for the loading, at least the other two versions of the game had shorter loading times.
cmsunite I think because you were using the NTSC version (long time loading) but I was using the PAL version and it was so short (7 seconds maybe…)
I had the greatest hits version for ps2 which cut the loading times to 12-15 seconds. However the xbox and gamecube version is about 4-6 seconds long.

I LOVE this video game! This is the best Crash Bandicoot video game of all time history, even still to this day! It has the best graphic special effects, the best voice acting, the best character design models, storyline, and, of course, that soundtrack is beyond incredible to listen to! This game is literally my whole childhood.
Twinsanity is pretty cool too, they both deserve a hight quality remake

How much this fandom loves twinsanity's mediocrity is not only weird but subjective; however, saying its one of the best game is just false as it has way too many flaws to be considered this amazing crash game. This unfinished rushed game can't ever compete with Crash 2 or 3. Maybe if a lot of cut content made it to the game it would but not as it is now. The gameplay and level design is very plain compared to crash 2 & 3 imo. Even crash 1's gameplay & level design felt more polished.

I don’t care if this game gets any hate because it was an amazing crash game. If you think this game is bad then compare it to most of the games we get today which has micro transactions, dlc, half finished game I guarantee you the games from PS2 days will still hold up as great titles. I really wish games would be made as full games again.

Mona Cat and they add all the missing content from crash twinsanity since that game, while being fun, was really short and had alot of things removed from it

There was at least one that was missed because he didn't have the right colored gem to access it when he encountered the branch in the path the first time. I think it was in Warp Room 2? If not 3.

i remember playing this game with my dad when i was like 9-10 years old. I'm 23 now god time flies fast. I don't remember if it was this crash bandicoot or some else, but it had a stage with some kind of water monster and when i finally beat it and told my dad he almost couldn't believe me at first. I felt like a real mvp😂
