Awesome!! One of my favorite songs of all times. This one circled back to me as I transition into another decade of my life. I sure hope the younger generations ... millennials and after get to know this song and the Indigo Girls. They would be missing out greatly. I hope they can hear all the Indigo Girls great music, harmonies, and intelligent, soulful lyrics.
Sorry. Not Jerry Marotta. Jerry Marotta was the original drummer. This, I believe is Blair Cunnningham (originally with the 80's group Haircut 100) but his is indeed killing it!
These two are so incredibly talented. They have gotten me through gard timesI am blessed to have seen them and to have shared their m❤usic with my family. They are now fans as well.
Do the indigo girls have a background in Buddhism or something??? These lyrics contain some pretty buddhistic ideas . Amazing song and live performance by the way ✌️🕉️.
"'Galileo's head was on the block. The crime was lookin' up the truth'......." Things never change.

Love these women. This is my favorite Indigo Girls song. I loved it then and still do.
Kids, this is real music. Thoughtful lyrics, instruments, and the ability to take it to a new level live.
November 2024
Hard to think of a more consistently excellent group than the Indigo Girls, both lyrically and melodically!
Love the Indigo Girls. So underrated.
Amazing tune, freaking *amazing* lyrics.
Just got out of their concert in Pittsburgh. No one will ever equal them. Dang.
Added bonus to a FANTASTIC song is watching that cat hit those drums
Jerry Marotta on drums, killing it!
For real though. Great song, lyrics, harmony, etc but I was like who is that on drums?

Magnificent! I just wish Emily had written "Questing Soul" instead of "Resting Soul" in invoking the spirit of Galileo, but that's my only caveat!
Masterpiece.
5 people's soul won't get it right.
Is that Jerry Marotta on drums? Can't tell....too dark.
You can tell how old this video is because all those people aren't holding up their damn cell phones.
The last few shows i went to were nearly cell phone free. But i think it depends on the music genre.
It definitely does, went to a Grrta Van Fleet concert and it was a sea of phones. To be fair, it was a bunch of college students there.
❤️❤️❤️🌈🌈🌈🌈❤️❤️❤️
