- The Tzfat that is today’s tourist hotspot is the Old City, originating from the Spanish Jews who settled the town after the Expulsion in 1492. From the old buildings to the ethnic atmosphere, Safed offers not just a jump back to the past but also a beautiful present. These days, the locals of Safed are often involved in Kabbala (a Jewish esoteric school of thought) and Kabbala becomes an integral part of society. The old city streets and houses are steeped in Kabbalistic influence - the doors and windows painted blue in mystical symbolism to confuse evil spirits. what -on postfix actually means in hebrew?. i noticed that hebrew and abraham origin from same root word haber means friend. haber is also the name of shem's grandchild. but -on was added and used in cities' name like hebron, zion, meron, ashkelon, rishon, and holon

What a beautiful tour. It brings back memories of my time there. I miss the warmth of the town. There's a palpable feeling of electricity on the streets, in the air of Tzvat. Jerusalem has a warm and calm feeling. There's the hustle and bustle of Tel Aviv. The chemical smell of Haifa. But as beautiful and unique as they each are, non can compare to the energy of Tzvat. Before I die, I will again walk the streets of Tzvat to re-energize my nefish, and calm my lev.

What a wonderful town😍 I have been in Israel between -84 and -92 so many times, all over, and never ever did I know of this beautiful town or city!! How can it be?! All the blue colours on the doors and gates reminds me of Greek islands! I miss Israel❤️
