Perfect gonna install this as my doorbell replacement
Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even th-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

My hikvision PTZ has a Bnc cable and Ethernet cable .. do I connect the Ethernet to my router ? Or do I connect it to my dvr ? The bnc cable is connected to my DVR .. thanks

What do you hook camera up to?
It's hooked to ethnet cable. The other end of the cable goes to NVR recorder which is hooked upto a POE switch then to the router to connect to internet for remote and local monitoring.

Honestly surprised they had a Micro SD card slot and not hot swappable SSD flash storage on this giant lol.
why? its recorded at an NVR, just incase someone steals the nvr you have a micro sd card, its not primary recording

Try installing one of these up a 24 ft ladder on a power pole that's slippery.
if you installing PTZ on a pole from 24 foot ladder u should never be cctv installer in a first place ... u get a boom lift and charge the customer safety first always ...

Sure but there is many other options of lift equipment out there , never rush yourself or try to do it cheap your safety is worth more than $$

it's an IP PTZ, you ned to configure your DVR so it can use the PTZ
