Profoundly beautiful, & moving exhilarating, imaginative, fascinating throughout, combined with a fantastic performance. WOW
First time I listen to this composer. Very inventive.
Pezzo straordinario, geniale.
This is the most beautiful piece I've heard in a while.
Gleich mit dem Doppler-Effekt anfangen! Carola, Carola, Ihnen ist Ihr Name zu Kopf gestiegen. Schöner Funk over program. Sehr gut, sehr, sehr gut gemacht. War überfällig.
Vielen Dank.
I am tripping over this!
A truly original and inventive score. Brava Carola.
Brano bellissimo. Brava Carola Bauckholt!
Commovente (geniale la scrittura Brava Carola) Grazie from Italia
Just discover her work amazing
so good!
pop-ism...
This is a great piece!
Awesome
I love this!
è commovente (brava CAROLA ) grazie from Italia
Love it!
To me, this is a beautiful essay on an aesthetic meaning that we ascribe to the counter rhythms of nature.
well said
Wonderful!
Baby t-rex in 2:30. (Also love this piece - my professor mentioned this in class!)
Honking Geese? Swans? et al. Very interesting sounds combinations and actual pitches...showing that you don't need schematics and diagrams--a traditional score can accommodate sound experiments and extended techniques. The question I have about this music and even Hexcorallia by Gabriella Smith...is whether this is not musically the equivalent of Carnival of the Animals using more realistic sounds by way of extended techniques...
massive
LOVE this.
Is this supposed to sound like seagulls?
Strange TH-cam algorithm acts again. Reminds me structurally and sonically of Kling Klang an early piece by Kraftwerk.
Awesome! I wonder if she actually transcribed this directly from 'the sources'
Indeed she has acquired the harmonic material from birds. Last year I studied one of her pieces in class, a piece about wolves (though I prefer this one), and my professor got the original sounds she recorded and the original sheet from her. Shes a wonderful composer!
Great!
Are the pitch bends produced normally, that means by changing the angle you blow at the mouthpiece? That must be a terrifying lot of physical movement… Or is it by partially covering the holes?
I LOVE YOU from Italia
i need drugs now
hahaha me too!
F. Johanna Pérez i was on couchsurfing last month, 3 film students , 1 night, and a lot of red wine, i introduced them Carola Bauckholt - Zugvögel, they like it, so i could stay for a week longer at their apartment.
take care.
This IS drugs
Or at least what you experience after taking LSD
...auch meine Katze liebt es!
Ist deine Katze züffalig auf Drogenentzug
This music is perfect for a horror movie
Birds cats and babies
minimalism ...
Troppo prepotente l'imitazione naturalistica che non è sublimata in alcun modo
This is a philosophical inquiry into the aesthetic foundations of using rubber ducks as dildos, as they pertain to the historic ideals of post-2006 pretentiousism.
Wonderful!
