I was a contractor in the 80's. My competitors and fishing buddies lost everything working at Trump' casino. They got 25% what was owed. He Lawyered them to death and they lost everything to vendors.

Im truly surprised to hear Dr Meecieca claim it’s hard to differentiate between JB’s speech impediment & possible cognitive issues. My training is in language analysis & to me it’s easy to differentiate ‘surface’ language issues from JB’s sound conceptual thinking. DT’s language problems are clear and of concern. Cognitive issues too. And his wariness of sloping surfaces etc- I’ve observed people with dementia & he fits right in with them. Maybe the good doctor means the ordinary person in the street can’t tell?? Weird.

I only know of two debates...the third debate is a proposal for an October debate on FOX that Biden has not agreed to given FOX not being a legitimate news service.

Yes. Biden needs to refuse and specifically cite Fox's settlement when they were sued by Dominion, and Fox hosts' texts and emails that were made public as evidence in that case.

I am a l o c Katie/Raskin woman BUT I would vote 4 Ki nzinger for office (behind Katie or Jamie of course) in a NY minute. @@Arulane I am quite aware of how he voted, being that I was raised even as a child to be an activist..and I ain't been a child for some years, but if you actually listen to AK's interviews and his streams, he does say that his views changed towards the center and that he does not know whether it was the J6 hearings or just as he put it "maturing." The thing I like about him is that he divulged his thought processes regarding his move towards the center and he was really quite humble. I really respect his honesty, however he did say that he is undecided right now about running again at least for the next year or two due to him having a young child.

I can't believe we are actually sitting around scrutinizing ad nauseam the characteristics of these two men. The stark contrast of their psychological, intellectual and emotional stability is quite apparent. Shouldn't this be one of the easiest choices you could ever make?

I don't think DT’s press conferences outside the courtroom should be covered by MSM or any of his rallies. But this is the media system we live in. But DT said he would debate anytime, anywhere, under any conditions. So at least Biden has set some conditions. The debates won't be moderated by any right-wing propaganda networks. They won't be held in front of a live audience and most importantly, mics will be cut if Trump doesn't answer the question or goes over his allotted time.

Don't call him a bully, ffs. In Trump's world, and the world of his fans, a bully is "strong". Calling him an a-hole, a dictator, cruel, spiteful, all of that sort of stuff - they're compliments, in a sick way. They're positive attributes of a "strongman". Focus on his weaknesses. How ineffective he was as POTUS, how he loses all the time in business, law and relationships of all types, how impotent he was against COVID, how friendless he is, how he's despised by his wife and has to pay for sex because she won't sleep in the same bed...things that bring him down, not only to him, but more importantly in the minds of his base.
Biden gets this. He's called Donald "a loser," and in his public challenge to debate, he said Trump lost to him twice in 2020, then made fun of him for being in court 4 days a week. He coined the phrase "the former guy," lists Donald's unfulfilled campaign promises that he (Biden) accomplished, and teased him about not carrying his own golf clubs.

A very large part of why we still have the trump problem is because Mitch McConnell refused to follow through with Trump's 2nd impeachment by not allowing him to be convicted and removing him from office, thereby ending his political career. Not much foresight for such a seasoned politician.

Haley is out of the race but remains on the ballot in all of the states because she didn’t file the withdrawal forms or filed the forms after the official deadline to withdraw. Therefore, she remains on all of the state ballots. Haley may have purposely not withdrawn because she wants her name to appear on the ballots.

Don't confuse cognitive ability with the necessity of an ex-stutterer to speak slowly and carefully. I'm speaking as a person of Biden's age who once stuttered. I can assure you that my memory and mental ability are the same as when I was 20. Apart from twinges of arthritis now and again I'm fortunate enough to enjoy great health. Is Trump required to have his shadow with him at all times. The guy is never more than 3 feet away. If he has to be further away, a surrogate is temporarily assigned to be the shadow. What is going on there?
