For whom the bell tolls (SATB sheet music)

Something I wrote last year and never got to upload... until now :)
The way the voices sing against each other was inspired by how church bells tend to "phase" against each other when they call for worship. I kind of liked the effect :) Rhythmically quite a challenge to perform.

This beautiful piece seems to add a new dimension to polyphony, in that each voice has its own repeated motif, independent of the rest. A fascinating experiment in choral writing.

A fine piece displaying some kind of "phasic polyphony". It sounds very full; it also seems to have a "medieval touch" which I like
