Need to give massive praise to Shooterking for the forest mist digital camo jacket and trousers … so comfortable, weatherproof and quiet as you like for the all important stalking … bring on the cooler weather so I can wear it more
Hi Ron and thanks for the kind words … it’s actually the fac AA s510 tac in .25 … fantastic rifle and was happy to have been assisting with the development
Mick, what would the Talion be like for shot placement on rabbits out to 100 yards? Struggling to find any video with rabbits at any kind of distance on YT so far. I use a 223 with Drone Pro 10x at the moment but can’t decide between IR or Thermal for my 17hmr for closer work. Thermal would be ideal but not if the image is sketchy or the rabbit is tiny at that distance.
Hi and thanks for the question … it’s stated that the talion will detect a 1.8mt sized object at 1350mts which I would mean that a rabbit of .30mts in height would be easily detected at 100mts … I was easily spotting and identifying rabbits at this range but if you need more ID power there are many other thermals from pulsar available but this comes at a price obviously … in the past I have used the older pulsar trail on rabbits way up to 100mts and the talion is a much improved unit … hope this helps
Very good video mate, huge improvements in the equipment to assist the firer, look forward to the next one.

what thermal spotter and what scope are you using, it sounds like the gun is fac .22?
Hi Elma … thanks for the comment … the scope is the pulsar talion xq38 and the spotter is the axion xq38
… sorry the gun is the air arms s510 tac in .25 and as you say fac
Most people shoot sub 12
Not in .25 though …
cracking video mick what tripod are you using mate
Thanks Derek .. it’s the Rekon ct1 carbon fibre … thinking of doing a bit of a comparison between different pods
That would make a good video mick there are a few out there now all prices
👍🇬🇧
Thanks Andrew
