Jesus that engine sounds like a beast!! Yuri you were tripping out my anxiety level when you were one handed angle grinding, that's dangerous dude, zero control over it.
Be safe before anything!!
Greetings all from Lancashire UK
Great to see Yuri back in action
💪🏻💪🏻
@@Motorheadco yeah bro
Have no fear. The Yurinator is here.....💪💪💪 Very clean welds there Boss...
Thanks bro 🙏
Interesting idea welding the bolt heads rather than drilling holes in the angle, can't say I'm a fan of that. Tray mounts need to have some movement as the chassis flexes.
Will be no access to those bolts when it’s finished... but you are right it would be better to drill holes but I like welding more then drilling 😁
@@yurok36 U bolts are a common solution, I get the drilling hole PITA thing but I'd be concerned the bolt welds will crack typically at the most inconvenient of times. F series are not known for a stiff chassis th-cam.com/video/_f3CAnH7WIM/w-d-xo.html might want to make sure it's not too close to the cab ether...
That's a big pup, he is growing so fast, and is going to be a MONSTER dog, he will fit in with the monster Ford.
Yay the big red Ford. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Yuri, weld angle iron all the way around the perimeter and put rough sawn oak planks on that beast. 2x6 planks would look amazing. Forget diamond plate. Just use long self tappers, I have that setup on all my trailers.
Welds looking clean, Big Red looking mean!
I would use teflon strips to go between frame of truck and bed frame. I would go to a local saw mill and get rough cut 2X6 to lay down on the deck of the truck bed and wrap the outsides of the bed and on the ends and sides of this bed frame assembly which protects the wood plus makes for the stake sides a place to make the pockets of this build. On the headache rack I would do whatever it takes to have the steel drop below the bed frame and have some braces that angle back, and up to the main frame of bed so it can't fold forward and you don't have braces running down to the deck for reinforcement. That way nothing gets in the way of loading or reaching for something on the deck. Also this way is lighter and the weight hauled is not compromised and the wood will give you all the strength that you need. Rough cut lumber if you were to haul some gravel on that bed would shine the deck smooth. Later if diamond deck is the hearts desire, pull the wood an replace with steel or just over the top of it all depending on a cost versus strength thing. So get the teflon strips a quarter inch thick by two or more inches wide the full length of truck bed frame. Don't go crazy till your sure of what it hauls the most and other decisions that come to play. The mud flaps should go to some channel that will have you a piece of metal to bolt to after its welled to that bed frame... use whatever length chain it takes to go down to the flap material. Chain would go to some flat stock so flaps bolt to that on the bottom and the chain hanging down would weld or bolt to that flat stock upper half of flap hanger. Those flaps might just last a while this way as mounted rigid would break off or rip out should tire and flap and whatever you back up to, the flap might just not tear off. I never go real long flaps as it just to me look right. Just and old mans meusing thoughts oh and great build so far.... I know this one got into that pocket book for the engine alone. The back of the cab should take high honor
Yuri is in his element when he is doing fab work! great job guys!!
Great to see our man Yuri back!!!!! Been missing his homely mug! Loving the truck, btw, and also the S2000.....
Great job on the bed. Getting there 👍
Detroit checking in 💯 y'all doing y'all thang man keep up the good work and keep that footage coming 💪🏿😎🔥 this is motivation for the world to get out there and at least try sumn u think u can't do 💪🏿
These custom beds take a lot of skill and time. Great Job Yuri!!
Thank you ❤️
MotorHead, This truck needs to be in every video you do going forward, even if you just have it sitting in the background. This is what I subscribed for.....
Nice job on the welds URI!!
Great job guys.
Welcome back Yuri, you were missed. Glad to see this build back on track.
your welding is just out of this world you are getting so much now
Finally the F550 is back!
🙌🙌
And the owner!
Shirrrrrrt...I reckon.
That was great can’t wait to see the rest
Your doing a *solid* job on the flatbed...
Thanks bro
Yes been waiting on the 550 looking good guys paint the rims that would make it look a lot better to
I'm so glad Yuri is back on!!!! You were missed! So damn talented! Master at work!
NICE WORK THANKS FOR SHARING
You got some mad skills Yuri, you're the boss when it comes to steel work.....are you also going to build a back plate behind the cabin so you don't damage or scratch it when you are carrying stuff? Save up and go for the diamond plate, painted black.....maybe paint the rear wheel fenders when you end up making them or buying them red or get chromed.
Thanks bro and as far as the headache rack and flares go, as soon as the CNC machine gets its update we will cut out something nice and clean
I loved, go ahead guys!. But all I could think of was ... all the sparks from the grinder were going to hit the Mclaren @vTuned. AND .... SOMEONE is going to go blind, because he almost melted his helmet. LOL. But I finally see some progress on the F550, I was really looking forward to it, and those flashes worry me how it will look.
That truck is a beast!!!
Yes sir, about time to get this flat bed done 💪🔥
For sure 🔥
Great work Yuti, love your Motohead.Co videos!!
I have loved that truck from the beginning!!! They are doing an amazing job!
Being I have my OSHA 30 hr industry safety certification I feel inclined to let y’all know that posting videos on you tube in the work place you should have all your PPE (personal protective equipment) on and make sure your grinding wheels are in spec with the grinder and all the different safety guidelines osha has set out because they can and will fine or inspect y’all for it if they find out
Just a little tip to hopefully keep y’all out of some trouble in the long run
Great job on the new truck bed guys!
Miss that big red truck 🔥
Greetings from Sudan 🇸🇩
Great job on the fab work guys. love your channel. Listen to Dad, he knows his stuff. Fab on Garth .
It's always a treat to watch Yuri flexing his fabrication skills. Can't wait for more, eager to see how it turns out. Cheers guys, have a good one ✌️
Dude is a legend
It's been a while since I wacthed you guys and you guys have done a lot
Haul smart car around with that. I had to laugh at that. It is looking good can't wait to see how you design the flares
Everyone don't forget to go sign the RPM act save our Motorsports save our race cars save the aftermarket performance industry much love everyone
Consider “equipment Isolation pads” between the truck frame and bed frame..rubber with heavy cork center.
Grainger has them
great job, a few pinholes , but not bad, I would add a headache rack to the frame behind the cab , though.
Oak plank bed!
Nice frame work.
Great work! you could do timber planking, old school cool.
Looking great love the respect you show for you Dad [the big boss] As a dad it is so nice to see May you always be blessed
Great video and glad to see Yuri back again and working on that great F550 !!! And you Boys did it again: a very nice video, great editing and the best music !!! My compliments, and a joy to watch !
Cant wait for the next clip !
Excellent attention to detail!
You go the the saw mill and get a quote on some 8/4 hardwood yet? I'd guess you could plank that bed with $500 of wood. Add some sealant with a sheen and it would contrast the truck perfectly.
It sounds killer! It’s going to be a great truck!
Love the fab work
Just a suggestion use something like a conveyor belt between frame and bed . A little over 1/4 thick and no squeaks or water like woodland it will form over any imperfections on frame rail. This will keep it low and really cinch it down.
Nice work Boyz keep it up
Price of steel is so HIGH now . Flatbed is looking great .
Sounds great
That red color looks awesome
Built like a brick house good job
As usual, nice work Yuri. 💪🏽 Also I’m digging the Motörhead intro.
Awesome video on TH-cam today you are cool awesome truck
💯💯
Awesome piece of engineering ✌🏻👍🏻
Is that one of "Bruno's" pups? Nice work on the flat bed.
Great welding!
Great metal work - great video work, enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks guys
Cant wait to see then next vide
Bit of timber between the chassis and bed rails. I like how the bolts locate the bed but I'm worried that they will eventually fracture and break due to chassis twisting. Usually truck bodies are held on with U bolts clamping over chassis and rails to allow movement and prevent metal fatigue and fractures. Good to see it out on the road, hope you find a suitable bed floor within budget soon. Something second-hand or timber?
That turbo sounds amazing!
Hiya guys.I read Slick Ratchet's,and a few other's comments.Wood won't last your lifetime.Poly strips will. The right plastic will never rot,or squeek.I think the frame will look great painted Black too, with the outside edges Red.You can stripe it with Reflective Clear-Coat too.No stickers needed.Just tape sections and use the reflective clear, then clear it all.It sounds bad-ass btw.
I've watched this at least 5 times (I'm just a little obsessed with Yuri's welding apparently 😉) It's watching the creative process in action that I thoroughly enjoy. I realize that this took place over a few days but Yuri's tenacity is matched only by his talent 😎. That's a lot of work to get done in such a short amount of time. #settingthestandard #besttalentinthesouth
Cool you take your dads advices 💪
Sick build!
great job looks good. I enjoy seeing and doing projects like that . keep the the good content coming.
BRAVO !!!!!
Let's get you all al safety glasses sponsor up in this piece.
That’s facts 😂
great job....would highly recommend PPE... you will thank yourself later in life.
Yoooo yuri great to see you again keep it up
❤️❤️
Yes one of My favorit builds!!!
👌🏻👌🏻
What did you do on your vacation, Yuri? Somebody said you would have a "big announcement" when you got back- so give, man with a baseball team for brothers! Good to see you home- my right leg is almost all over the itchy twitchies you gave it last year! FR
Dang looking good.
Another great video
Great welding Yuri
Nice work bro ✔👍👍👌👌💕💕💓💓✊✊✊💖💖👍👌💕💕💓✔✔
Thanks bro ❤️
@@yurok36 you welcome brother
I personally don’t think that wood would be the best fit for the bed rails, have you thought about using 1/2 thick strip of rubber for the rails,as long and wide as rails.just saying, keep doing what your doing, glad to see y’all back on the projects.😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thick polyurethane pads ... like the wheels on roller blades. Hard and durable.
Did not think of that thanks for the tip guys definitely will do this
Almost every cab and chassis truck on the road uses wood strips as an isolator between bed and frame rail.
Urie the bed is to haul product , fenders, front ends hoods etc. Come on make the old man happy. The ony thing I would like to see is bigger tires.
nice work :)
I always wanted to see somebody section an channel a regular 350 dually bed to fit one of these F450/550’s.
We almost did that lol
definately not the direction i thought you guys were going with this truck!
i was thinking more like a sport deck kinda thing for a toy hauler!
but the work truck deck is good to!
it will be strong and sturdy!
i like the narrow design better than the wide one!
im sure it will look real good once completed!
i would install a good strong headache rack or the back of that such nice custom cab will get all beat up real quick like that!
looking forward to seeing the finished product!
good job! as always!
You could use structural glue between the frame and flat top
Boss man putting the smack down on the camper foolishness. Lol "You make truck! Not hippie wagon!!"
Lmao facts 😂 bro I’m dead 💀
Bro, I have Ukrainian family, (in laws) my wife is Moldovan.. I get it..😂😂
Have you considered 'Black-Cherry'color for the rims?Whatever you do,I'm sure it'll be awesome too. That truck sounds good, and looks great so far.(btw,4 Bros, and 4 Sis too.Your family's closeness is great and it shows too)
I would just flat plate it and bed line it black skirt the bottom side’s and paint that red and put a kinda like a roll bar with brushed and polished diamond plate inserts next to the cab kinda like the western hauler flat beds with your own custom style that’s just me but you guys definitely have a damn good starting point
Oh yeah I’d make the side skirt where they kinda went swooped in from the cab to the duels then swooped back towards the back end like the welders have on their welding rigs around where I live in south Texas they have some pretty nice looking beds a bunch of them look better than stock beds even with the welding stuff on back
Give us a video of just driving that beast around. Or atleast a video of more driving.
The Magician is back💪👊
Yeah gday from new Zealand..good job guys
Looking good
Thanks!
Realy nice!
keep it up guy’s 👍
Love from punjab
That a good truck
That's why a lot of people go with wood planks.
Where did the wood slats go for the bed rest, I did not see them installed?
15:07 Hi Buck!!
Would it be cheaper to use checker plate or wood mounted on your frame as you are always spreading the load on a flat bed
Wow nice job..
