Wanna hear something that’ll make that even more insane? Out of the 4 of them (Paul, Tucker, Lowry, and Bron), LeBron is looking like he’ll be the furthest one from retirement.
I’m not gonna be the one to turn this into a goat debate, so that isn’t the point of my comment at all. But I think we all need to acknowledge how special you need to be to carry as many teams as LeBron has to the finals, regardless of win or loss. He’s beaten so many championship favorites to advance to the finals while his second best players were bonified role players. I think that should be something added onto his resume as well. So many of the all-time greats, top 5 caliber players, needed someone else to make it to the finals. Jordan, Kobe, Kareem, a bunch of amazing top 5 guys who needed help. Lebron was his own help, and that definitely gets undervalued a lot now. Edit: Everyones big on Ant this playoff run, so imagine he beat the Mavericks this year without Kat, Rudy, Jaden, or Naz. If it was JUST him and the role players the Timberwolves have. That’s what LeBron has done three times.

It’s funny how when Starbury got replaced by JKidd the Nets went straight to the finals, and when Nash replaced him the Suns won 60+. Steph is a nice man, and certainly the product of his NYC environment upbringing (which caused him to ask out of MN), but he didn’t play that winning basketball.
