I lost a close friend to covid on Christmas morning. I didn't find out until the next day when she had been cremated. We had been friends for 11 years. For reasons I will never find out, she didn't tell me she had covid. This song feels like my soul reaching out to her. I’m really sorry about your friend. I hope you are still pushing through and moving forward, I’m sure that’s what your friend would want you to do. Remember, we are eternal beings, so we’re never really ‘gone.’ We’ve just transformed into something else. Anyways, keep your head high because you are loved and supported here. All of us are here, so we should treat each other with respect, meaning, and purpose because we all have the potential to be great in life. For the longest time ever, I felt so useless and alienated in society. I never fit in, and I was very behind my peers in life because I was antisocial. However, I learned a lot about self love through self hate, and how we really can’t continue our lives unless we love ourselves and others. Clearly, you are good at loving others if you cared about your friend that much, which I commend you for that, I wish there were more people in the world like you. Even if you don’t need this message, I just want to remind you of self love and stuff just in case you’re struggling with it. My mom’s friend passed away in December; one day before Christmas Eve. We’d already gotten a present for her and were going to send it on Christmas Eve, but then she just... well went away. We played Pokémon Go with her a lot. In fact, I’m the only one who remembers adding her as a friend on the game, but I’m also the only one who remembers the remember the last time we played together.
