    when he finds out he's painted with Barbarian Flesh: "We defeated Hannibal for this?"

    I know it’s not generally your genre but could we see a conversion video on some of the different legions? Maybe gritty veterans for Caesar. Egyptian influences for Ptolemy and mark Antony. Parade/fancy for Octavian

      Thanks for the suggestion! I'm not as brushed up on my Roman history as I am my Space Marine lore but maybe I should take a look into it.

    This isn’t a space marine painting video! I couldn’t possibly watch this! Where is my ultramarine successor chapter? :(
    Good video man.

      Technically Ultramarines are Space Romans so you could count this as a Ultramarine Successor painting guide 😉

    Historics are fun to paint, less surface area to paint and not over detailed

    How convenient, I'm about to order a few more Legionaires to fill out my Conterbunium

    As seen in Alesia with reenactorz weeks ago most helmets did not show any feathers on top of helmets being more the Coolus type. Hence I will cut them on most of my minis except maybe for some ' Optiones'.

    There’s probably some good parts in there if you wanted to make Ultramarine guard auxiliaries for a 40k or 30k army.

    Can you make a Minotaur how to paint vid? I'm starting my first army and it would help. Love all your painting and conversion videos. Keep it up.

    You know how you did that tzeench chaos warrior for aos? Could you maybe do that for nurgle, khorn and slenesh? I’ve really been struggling to find good ways of doing this

    There would not be much dirt on shields as they were kept in covers and only exposed when going into action. Caesar tells us this in BG II.21 when the enemy attacked suddenly and the Romans didn't even have time to uncover their shields; "...scutis...tegimenta detruenda tempus defuerit." 😊

    Bronze details looks great, did you clip the "puddle" base off before sticking it to the base? I'm struggling to cover it up the rise with basing materials :/

    What’s the scale of these? Could I use some of these to kit bash some space marines?

    • @PeteTheWargamer
      @PeteTheWargamer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A bit too small I'm afraid, the shields could probably be used though.

      U.S Winter looks cool but you'll be building/painting a whole lot of metal models which can get more expensive than using the plastic kits. As Bolt Action is a very infantry heavy game my advice would be to go with U.S Airborne or U.S Army, as they both have plastic kits.
