But since the anime failed, i imagine a game adaptation of the manga, with instalce courses, cool boss fights, and interesting special attacks you can perform. I kinda imagined that if i worked for Grasshopper Manufacture, i’d adapt this manga into a game, while Suda51 works on continuation of NMH and other games he wants to make. The story mode of the game wouldn’t be just some generic arena battle game. It’d have parcour, many deaths, you’d have to fight numerous enemies, AND you could fight 1v1 against other characters ocasionally. The battle arena part would be in the battle mode outside of the story mode, where you can pick one of many of your favourite characters, while in story mode you’d mostly play as Ganta. You’d have to be careful not to waste too much of your blood, because it’s your health, and if you run out, you pass out and die. But you can always replenish your health/blood with pieces of candy that floaty off the ground and you can find it in many places, like coins in Mario, or ringa in Sonic. This blood isn’t just your health of course, because it’s also used as a weapon, so Ganta can use his Ganta Gun by using some of his blood. There are also special moves you can unlock, when your sugar and blood pressure rise so much that you can unleash a powerful attack that doesn’t waste your blood/health when you use it. The final Battle in the story mode of course will be with Ganta fighting against Shiro’s evil later ego, and the final battle music would be „One Reason”, the main opening song from the anime. It’d be epic! What do you think of my idea for a game adaptation?
I watched the anime when I was 13, and I liked it sooo much, that the fact that the anime is incomplete made me discover the wonderful world of manga. I love this manga deeply! The visuals, the fightscenes! I'm forever grateful to this anime for introducing me to mangas!
I love how I was just searching for some video about Deadman Wonderland manga and you uploaded it 5 hours ago :"D great video!! Exactly what I was looking for
This is how I got introduced to deadman wonderland. Adult Swim in 2012. I loved it so much I read the manga on kiss manga. if y'all remember that. Also I remember space dandy being hyped up to airing on there before japan
This was one of those series I hoped another studio would pick up. This needs at least a proper reboot or something so we see the whole series adapted since it felt a bit rushed with the manga stuff they cut out. I always wanted to see the later arcs adapted especially the fights.
The second half of the manga legitimately brought me to tears and is one of my favorite love stories Which is something I was not expecting out of this edgefest
Deadman Wonderland, Claymore and The Promised Neverland had some of the best adaptations with the biggest middle finger anime original endings. Suggestion: Beet the Vandel Buster
Man it brings me back to middle school. Both Casshern Sins and Deadman wonderland were my edgy melodramatic shit! I remember this toonami block vividly!
Actually, I already knew it was good. I didn't watch the anime though as it left out key characters. I think a reboot to complete the series would be excellent.
DW initially wasn't terrible, but it rode the wave of the authors previous works in terms of popularity. My problem with DW is that it was only 'just another Battle Royale comic' with even worse writing and a terribly garbage ending. All centered around a weak & waffling character.
I REALLY don't like Deadman Wonderland. There's something about deliberately too-edgy-for-it's-own-good manga that constantly lowers the quality across the board for that whole sub-genre. However I'm totally willing to believe the book was better than the show.
If only the whole manga got adapted, it would have been amazing.
it is amazing

one of the greatest short stories i’ve ever read, just wish we got more explanation on the ending
