This guy asked what I wanted to ask and he made Sandeep really comfortable. When it comes to toxic masculinity Bollywood needs to learn how to watch a film. Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh is a story which every grandmother narrates to their grandchildren, Movies are not made to just give you Gyan. Sandeep is successfully narrated his story in celluloid.

Nobody talks about the creepy camera angles and unnecessary tilt-ups that are used in regular commercial flicks to portray women. Kabir Singh reminds me of those Kannada cults of 80s, which had brutal honesty at its peak (like those of Upendra). And that's why among all the flicks of Indian cinema, this was the one, which just captured my heart, mind and soul.
Bharadwaj Rangan should be given a Job in Indian foreign services... for his diplomatic skills.

I never felt Arjun or Kabir as Toxic guys either. They are so passionate and Preeti’ character is so strong. Why did they call her weak? She made the first move. She walked out of marriage and managed her pregnancy alone.
Yeah but Kabir used to keep saying 'woh sirf meri bandi hai.' She is not a fucking object that Kabir can use and throw anytime he wants. And plus in today's day and age who says these kind of shit anyways. it was hellva misogynitic, unrealistic movie.

There is no discussion about the music of both the films. The music was the highlight that elevated the buzz and made the movie a bigger hit.!
Both the movies had amazing music, for sure. Won't love to compare both of the movies; if I am asked about Arjun I would say Madhuram is my favorite song and if I am asked about Kabir I would say Bekhayali.

He created a Character who is little mess up everything ! For a decade we are watching Cinemas where the male lead is too good to others and perfect human being ever exist ! But this guy broke such stereotype and made a character who is pretty short tempered and loss of anger management ! That's why these feminists rage towards him ! The cinematographic detailings were just amazing. It's not just a movie, we have been living with this guy since three years. Such movies come once in a decade.

So many transitions are there.i know very few still lot more there. I try to name few detailing.
1. Sounding:
When Arjun's grandma dead, rahul came to arjun, by the time he say "grandma died", then a background truck sound "baammm". It is just brilliant that Sandeep deliberately saying that's the same exact sound was going in Arjun's head when he heard the news.
2. When you watch after climax Arjun was hugging Preeti, if you clearly notice, arjun got goosebumps, you can see his air got erected in his hand.
3. During his brother's bachelor party, Arjun was so angry and drinking. There was background music is going on. When he returns to his room, the sound doesn't shut down easily, bar by bar slowly volume got decreased. Really very tiny things, he took really lot of care to look realistic and original.
4. Till now, no world cenema has this interval block. This kind of scene will never made in future cenema except Sundeep. When he was pissing in pants, he indirectly saying he is crying inside. Camera rotation says, his life will be reversed from that point.
He never gave us surprise, he hinted before every following scene, dailogue says it all for this matter. Songs has so much art work, never failed to amuse me every single time I watch. There were still so many things I can't recollect now.

In telugu or down the south Directors create characters ...they just dont make the movies to show the heroism or heroinism.
cinema is what ?? Make belief process ..and they do it so properly/exactly.. that you start believing the actors on screen behave same offscreen... that's so magical and funny but yeah ...eventually actors become overnight stars. and that's the capacity of a Director. Captain of the ship.

25:14 I have noticed this a lot of times in Kabir Singh. Even Preethi was in the classroom, which really makes sense why she didn't say anything when he kissed her cheeks. Some of the scenes really have hidden meanings. It's really not a movie but a masterpiece! I wonder if I could write stories like this.
