Omg YES! Way too much IMHO. Not hating on either artist ……I feel Gaga should have had Madonna on here in some way. It would have been giving me a different vibe. Like paying homage because this is Vogue!
I'm sure that was very intentional on Gaga's part. M called G in an interview. G was a longtime M admirer and has never made any bones about the fact that she was influenced by M. There was media focus on G actually copying M, i.e, Born This Way v Express Yourself (and others) which spurred M's comment. Rivalry or fued is irrelevant in my opinion if this is the type of art it produces! lol I think G's perfectly capable of saying, "you're old and redundant and I'm....not." Ummm, she has said that -- kind of. Yeah, I'd say it very much on purpose.

Seeing comments, I tried to listen Madonna's Vogue and all I can say is the only similar parts are just the drum and kick patterns. I kinda liked this song more than Vogue, tbh. (both melodic and production-wise)
