This figure is simply too cool to be an action figure we can buy. It looks like a custom that's been tricked to the 9's but was never meant to move. Simply breathtaking
I have a huge love hate relationship with this line. On the one hand, these figures are beautiful. On the other, since wave one, the Cosmic line has been plagued with QC issues. We waited extra for wave one to get the kinks worked out and they were delivered with issues. If you take Thygar’s wait apart, you’ll see the mold for the female ball socket is off. Instead of perpendicular to the hip piece, it was molded at a 45° and and contributes more to the hips popping off then the skirts. Just little things I feel through this line have been off. Tolerances on these waves have just been off. Chris really needs to go back to China and straighten them out.
Ideally yes, but the loose joints makes that a little more difficult, because as you're plugging them in the figure easily moves around. It just takes a little more care and time, it's really not too bad if you're patient.
@@DorkLair Aww then yes i can see how it can become frustrating very quiclky. I really like the story of the creator bringing to life a childhood design, was not aware of this bit. As toy collectors it's kind of a dream for us all to be able to do such thing :D
Awesome review as always. With our love for the 4 Horsemen and their figures it can be easy to overlook problems and QC issues. The fact that you point out the problems with these figures brings a sense of credibility to your reviews. I really appreciate your honesty in your reviews.
First thing I thought when looking at Kanoxx Vull was : the Bowen statue for Decapitator... Even more so now that we see the actual figure released... PS : I'm still wondering why 4 Horsemen are refusing to give us BIG BLADED WEAPONS (sword, dagger, scythe, spear,...) with our bigger figures... 🗡⚔
great review, can’t wait to get him, unfortunately loose hands and ankles are a common problem with many 4Horsemen figures that i got this year (still love both lines, but it’s annoying)
Bill, Erics notebook and how it influences what fans and others now enjoy is 🤯. Nice touch with the naration and visuals. Vox is Metal. I like his cooler color palette. He was a must get for me. We'll see who is next😀✌️
Great into Bill. I agree this guy is absolutely gorgeous aesthetically but the execution from the factory is far from perfect. Some joints are super loose and some are crazy tight. I had a seized knee that wouldn’t budge with any amount of heat and eventually snapped. The hoses are also annoying. But regardless I’m happy to have this dude in my collection
This is one of your best reviews....not only with the story telling.....but under the backdrop of legionscon you gave your viewers an honest review.....Many thanks...
It's a lot of little things that are hurting this line. It sucks that loose joints are prevalent throughout the waves. Kannox was my most anticipated figure from the series besides Thygar, and he can't even hold up his mace because the wrist swivel was so loose out of the box. I know it's a new IP, but with the prices they're asking there's really not a lot of room for QC issues.
I’ve dabbled in wave 1 of Cosmic Legions and am really happy with what I have picked up so far except for the loose joints on some of the figures. This figure looks fantastic and was on my list, but will be a pass now for me, unfortunately, solely due to the loose joints. There’s really no excuse for it at these price points and Four Horsemen needs to know they are losing sales due to poor QC in this regard. I went all in direct with them on their wave 1 of Oxkrewe and hope I don’t regret it. Great job on the review by the way, pointing out the good and the bad.
4HM sculpts are next level. I just wish they would add in a bit more articulation and fix the loose joint issues. I've been messing with Slygor, which I only opened yesterday, and he's already having a hard time standing up. My first wave Hvalkatar Olek fell apart right out of the box and never has stayed together. Great line and at the same time a disappointment.
Excellent Review! I really like this figure & what’s bonkers to me is I too drew a very similar character as a young boy. I loved to draw & made up crazy stuff but sadly never had a figure made of my characters. This action figure will represent young kids with cool imaginations!
What do you do about him turning into a loose marionette after you pose him once or twice that's what Happen to mine, I got him yesterday and now he can't even stand up without flopping forward or backwards
On Slygor Ryz; do you have any idea how the purple and blue face plates are supposed to go on the heads? I can't seem to figure it out. On Adam Power's video it appeared that the plates were planned to slot into the two robot heads when the purple plate is removed but that doesn't appear to be how it works in production. HELP!!
@@DorkLair I figured it out. There's a secondary set of all those accessories that come in little baggies when you buy the wave. In that set or the helmets that actually work in conjunction with the extra heads
What a thing of beauty. This feels so nostalgic and i dont know why lol. Cant wait to get this in hand.

Looks like a case of "pose him first, plug the tubes after"

Im looking forward to a review of the guards, the accessory count is absolutely insane, probably my favorite of the line
Gravekeeper looks awesome.

Maybe because they are more prone to breaking?

i think he looks like the little gate keepers fom the 80s movie the gate

Someone was an Iron Maiden fan as a kid
Funny thing is that looking back Iron Maiden didn't start using cyborg elements until after Eric had already designed this.
Great review Bill. Mine should arrive tomorrow. I'm pretty stoked!

The Tubes!!!!!
Is this a true story? Is this really how we got Kanoxx Vull? That's crazy cool.
Yeah check out the Figure in Focus article! It's great! sourcehorsemen.com/updates/blog/figure-in-focus-kanoxx-vull
Oh, It's true. IT'S DAMN TRUE.
Oh, It's true. IT'S DAMN TRUE.
I appreciate your honest review!
Kanoxx is definitely my most anticipated figure for this second wave of Cosmic! He has such a cool design and I’m looking forward to the brute scale!
It's a great scale!
It certainly looks cool.
Hopefully the loose joints are not part of the entire production run.

Great video! He's a beaut!
This is straight fire 🔥💣 😢
Would you ever consider making a video showing how to help with loose joints?
Perhaps. I typically use very basic fixes like paper and tape to just fill in the gaps.
I had a problem with loose spinning wrists on a goblin and I added plumbers tape around the peg and it fixed the issue just and fyi
Yeah that's exactly what I do, I little paper or tape depending on the joint, super simple.
I love this figure, but the wrists on mine prevents him from hold his mace right.
Yeah that's what I was talking about in the video with mine too.
This guy is neat but only because he's very exciting as a peak at what a full mechanoid could look like
How do you fix the loose joints?
What do you do about him turning into a loose marionette after you pose him once or twice that's what Happen to mine, I got him yesterday and now he can't even stand up without flopping forward or backwards
Are we going live tomorrow?
Probably not, but maybe a
quick hotel stream, we'll see.
wrist fix clear nail polish
Tape works just fine for me.
@@DorkLair oh yea that works too lol
how big is he next to the 4 arms dude ?
Kannox is shorter

I haven't opened mine yet because I still need to film the box. I'll try to bump him up the review queue.
