      It’s not a constant, start your line from wherever you have your shoulder measurement plus some allowances.

    Ma, how do you know the exact amount of fabric to cut out. My body measurements is the the same as yours but, anytime i make something like this for myself, it always comes out too big(a very full flare😔)

    Good morning.I want to ask a question. From 3.52 to 4.05, I noticed you didn’t curve it to the edge of the fabric (end of the fabric). Is there a calculation for that or what’s your reason

      Once you fold your fabric as a flare, you don’t need to make any curves, if you cut it properly it would naturally have one.

      The triangular form makes the dress fuller than the square form
      The triangular form is just like cutting a flare

      Since the front already has the flare shape, You can fold your fabric anyhow as long as you’re still cutting the same thing. If you noticed I still got exactly the same effect as what I had in front.

      Bust point is the measurement from your shoulder measurement down to your nipple. While your bust measurement is the one taken around your bust are.
