My physic's teacher said this was the song he danced to with his daughter at her wedding for the daddy and daughter dance
I hope the daughter picked the song and not her dad... lol
3 years later, I laughed out loud at your comment. @@troydreamer5939
I love how John Linnell still plays accordion even with some of the keys broken off
He's dedicated. Committed.
@@sakurachannel9624 it’s about drive, it’s about power
According to JL, the accordion had suffered some cosmetic wear and tear. Sometime later after this performance, the accordion was retired.
One of the announcers quoted from this song last night after the Yankees/Red Sox game ended. I was highly impressed.
I love the difference in their outfits
The nulear reaction between hydrogen...oxygen...nitrogen...thighamen...nutrisweet...homonym...azim..ahzm...and hydrogen
and estrogen
I'd bet this was the only late night appearance on a late night show of a glockenspiel, accordion, or bass clarinet in 1993, or maybe even the 90s.
Nope! th-cam.com/video/i6W1cxjvjc8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_kASRKkuoLExd-V9
When the host is dorkier then the band, and that band is TMBG... 👊✌ love you boyz!!!
Wow! This is a much better performance than what I provide to my children, in the car, on the way to school. Thanks for sharing!
Great improv, linnel
this song helped me remember shit for my midterm for astronomyi heard this song when i was 4
This it the greatest thing ive seen all day!!
I used to listen to this song when I was little, now it helps me in school- we are learning about the sun...
This was in their e-mail newsletter! :D
This is actually closer to the original Tommy Mottola version.
awesome. TMBG posted this on facebook!
way to go, valerie!
❤
My 2yr old daughter loves it
Completely agree.
A bit better than the single version, actually - the bass accordion helps!
Nutrasweet LMAO
the sun is a massive of indagrevise gas of nucela furnace
Too bad astronomers learned that the sun is really a miasma of incandescent plasma, not a mass of incandescent gas. TMBG have rectified the error in this song on Here Comes Science. (Search for "Why Does the Sun Really Shine")
Seems like such an odd decision for a tv performance.
Marshall Brooks this is they might be giants we’re talking about
Not for the first or last time.
Why Marshall? ... because without the sun there would be no life, there would be no you and mE!!! :D :D
I see Pearl is there.....good memories.
MY SON IS 2 AND HE SINGS THIS SONG!!!
Does he still like it?
He's 13 now
