We've had our IKEA wardrobes for about 11 years now, they are holding up really well, and have no obvious signs of wear. Yours look amazing, I've seen custom units that don't look as good as yours. Love the wallpaper idea too.💕
Dan did amazing work on that floor. He must have a lot of patience. The closet came out looking great and to think it's from IKEa. I’m first one to comment, it’s so lovely. I’m not an IKEA person, except for their organisers, my husband always says he is not putting ikea to our house, this has a nice finish though. I got my wardrobe, kids and study made all custom about few months ago when we moved to our new house. It’s worth every single dollar and I think it adds value to the house. I really like your colour coordination of clothes. 🤗💕
My husband refuse to buy IKEa because he thinks the wood is so bad. We just had ours redone to the way I wanted it. Still trying to organize my stuff. But it has made all the difference and all I had to do was to buy the wood and paint etc. My husband made it all including the drawers, took about a month but it's gorgeous. I am so glad we decided to get it done. But Dan did an amazing job and it's the little touches of the trims and the lights and rails that makes it look so good and well made.

Dan's a keeper! It looks amazing! In some ways better than the known wardrobe brands that cost a fortune but is easily identifiable in people's homes so can lack originality. There's also the added satisfaction in knowing your hubby and mummy set you up! Nice one
I couldn’t live without my big radial arm compound miter saw, bench saw, and pneumatic nailguns (and compressor). I wish I had spent the extra $250 and got the bench for the miter saw, but I did invest in the rolling bench-mounted table saw, well worth it.
Amazing job from Dan, everything looks so good both the wardrobe and the floor. DIY is always a good ideea and so rewarding, but you need to have practical skills and also specific tools.

Anyone that’s coughed up the amounts for fitted solutions must be gutted as whilst I like many other influencers dressing rooms they actually don’t look any better ......really good advice too regarding difficult tricky spaces - hope Dan got a treat for it! I tried to built a closet system for my son’s closet and I was so overwhelmed with the instructions and the measuring required that I gave up and paid someone to do it for me. 😆 closet came out beautiful! People are sleeping on the Pax system from Ikea! I have this Pax closet system as well and my husband put it all together with the LED lights as well. I absolutely love it! Because I love shoes, he got me the Billy Bookshelves for my shoes on one side of the wall. My friends and family love it as well! They talk about it more than I do to other people! Lol 😂

My hubby and I have talked about some of the things we want to do to our house and this is one of them, I also want him to add some shelving and drawers to my office which would be similar to this and I think when the time is right I'll make him watch this video so he can see how the molding adds so much. Looks beautiful! He already has tons of tools since he's been replacing our carpet with wood flooring so I'm sure he can do this too. I like how you spray painted the hardware to make it look different from just the plain versions.

A quick tip for anyone considering installing a pax wardrobe they are planning to take when they move house: Consider getting all 50cm wide units. Why? They are much sturdier as the back is only one piece, they're lighter, they're smaller so easier to handle/move, the hanging rails are sturdier and the drawers are much easier to handle.

If I’m really impressed, I hire them on a no-competitive bid basis (I just ask for an estimate +/- 10-15%). Generous professionals want happy customers and will go the extra mile. In the US, we have Diamond Certified Contractors (I don’t know if this is international), a very difficult certification to get, based on customer satisfaction. I always hire Diamond Certified workers, they might cost 5% more, but it’s as guaranteed as it’s possible to get in this world that they will do a terrific job.

You should have a moveable island with a marble top with wheels on the bottom. Draws all four sides. Good for vlogging and create more storage
