Mike was indeed " let go", as when asked about Mikes departure in another interview, John stated that he and Robby felt that it was time to move on. A very diplomatic and evasive answer if you ask me- that doesn't really do them any favours. They were my favourite band for many years. And although I still love their music, I won't be queuing for hours to see them again. Some of the magic has gone for me. Such a shame.

It was settled out of court for a substantial sum of money. GGD didn't want bad press. Mike was taking paternity leave as agreed upon by the band and they canned him when he took his time to be with his wife. While GGD are my favorite band, I can't condone their treatment of Mike. Robby didn't get fired for having a child.
There must be more to it then that.... why would they fire him because he became a father and they thought he needed to stay home with his wife and kids; both Johnny and Robby became fathers in the last few years too.

Hmm, kinda in same category as matchbox 20, train, snow patrol, etc. Tinny sounding , lacking real depth musically. Lyrics overly emotive , upper mediocre.
So sorry that Johnny messed up his face!! Too much Botox injections and plastic surgery!! He looked just fine before!!! Sounds like he threw his drummer under the bus!!! Hope he doesn't do that to Robby !! He has said he was a miserable prick to everyone before getting sober!! He wants all the attention and came to full of himself !!! Robby is awesome on stage always smiling and energetic rest of the band is boring!!!
