Well that's literally what that AC design is. It's a callback reaching all the way back to the first armored core. A rifle, a blade, a missile launcher and grenade launcher on a medium weight bipedal machine? That's literally the cover art and the opening cinematic for the very first Armored Core title. Even the legs are distinctly similar; look up the first playstation intro and you'll know what I mean.
Now, as to who the PILOT is, "Raven" could be anyone because the Ravens were the original mercenary group in the very beginning of the AC series. Apparently, whoever he is, we (in AC6) committed identity theft and he's not too happy about it. It's very unlikely he was a person from way back in the AC1 days because, as I understand it, that was a LONG time ago in the chronology of the series.

...how does that make sense? Raven leaked about the coral. I'm fairly certain that would mean he'd be on rubicon to begin with. 617 and the rest helped get walter to rubicon
Nah, Raven worked with Branch, the group who leaked the Arquebus tank development records, meaning he’d have to have been on Rubicon 3 for far longer than 617
