Well David, I am stuffed just watching you eat all those pho. Don't know how you felt afterwards, but I don't envy you eating so much. Mind you, I love soups but that's too much for me. Your hosts are very nice and engaging. BTW, I remember when Anthony Bourdain and Barack Obama visited Vietnam. Loving this series. 🥰🤗

Hi David I hope this finds you well I'm really enjoying your you tube videos keep up the good work looking forward to your next journey love Shirley xx
The difference between bún thang and phở is the broth, while phở can use both beef and chicken bone to make the broth, bún thang only uses chicken and another secret ingredient is tôm he khô (dried shrimp) Phở needs more special spices (coriander seeds, cinnamon stick,...), bún thang is more simple, there's almost no special spices in the broth The side ingredients put on top each dishes are also different, phở uses spring onions, onions, coriander to add more aroma to the dish, meanwhile bún thang uses rau răm (idk this herb in English 😅) That's all I know bout those dishes 😊 Hi vọng mấy bạn hướng dẫn viên sẽ nghiên cứu kỹ hơn về nền ẩm thực trước khi giới thiệu cho du khách nha, nhưng vẫn rất cảm ơn nỗ lực của mấy bạn nhiều, love ❤
Omg every noodle dish looked amaaaazing!!! You conquered Hanoi noodz lol yum lucky guy 🤤😻 I’m intrigued with the snails one oooOoOoo… now I want to make a Vietnamese coffee and anticipate your next viet videos!!! Woooo!!! 💜
David great vlog all those tasty noodles but I love the pork one so delicious, with the beard you look like Matthew McConaughey, the young ladies are very knowlegeable and pleasant and funny, love the entire area and some nice looking buildings.
The ducks they use to make that glass noodle soup are not regular ducks , but Muscovy ducks ( Con Ngan ) which are tastier and bigger than the normal ones (Con Vit) . They are like between a goose and a regular duck .
Qua Sâu is a bit like a plum. It grows only in the North . Besides the drink they use it to make a special sour soup ( Canh Chua Sâu ) as well . The girl didn't give you a good translation of the word Sâu . She said Sâu means ugly which is completely erroneous . Ugly is Xâu ( with a X ) but Sâu ( with a S ) means that fruit or a crocodile ( Ca Sâu ) . Unfortunately today many Vietnamese youngsters do make a lot of mistakes in writing and spelling words .
Yeeahhh David! You finally in my home mother land of Vietnam. I hope you make it to down south. The is so much variety and culture there too. Enjoy your visit. I hope you like it. Damn bro, you finally in Vietnam!
...from a country where I come from, without experiencing war, and to be 500 times behind Vietnman makes me angry. I am from a country called Malawi. Certainly we have failed to learn in 70 years....
David, please come back to India and visit Himachal Pradesh and uttarakhand. Its good time to visit. India is calling you. Its been a while here. And do a delhi food tour with Delhi food walks again.
When I want to be reminded of a warm mother's hug, I eat a bowl of hot noodle soup. It is so warm and comforting and Hanoi is the mecca of noodle soup due to its colder climate. You have only touched the surface of the experience and there are so many more to try. Taro Stem and pork ribs vermicelli (Bún Dọc Mùng), Pork meatballs and mushrooms vermicelli (Bún Mọc), Tomato Crab and Tofu Vermicelli (Bún Riêu Cua), Huế style beef noodle soup (Bún Bò Huế), Chicken Pho (Phở Gà). This is before moving out into the many regional variations and unique creations in the outer provinces.
It was what the American government did, not the American people. We hold history close to our heart but we've all moved past that to an age of cooperation and coexistence. Food unites us all.
@@HoangLe-rc5vb You are ignorant of history and have no sense. The USA is nominally a democratic country so they choose their leaders and you say the people are innocent. This is incredulous.
