I work at Anime Expo since 2007. This year, I was able to get a few decks and a good amount of promo packs.
I like to keep items for myself, never to sell.
People just need to wait until the prerelease tour is over and there will be plenty of packs in circulation.
Way to go, keeping things instead of passing them out
Local store in the UK give them after doing the in person tutorial game for £10 which is fair. Would never buy them outright especially for higher than that
new subscriber, just got some from AX because I heard that they were selling like crazy. Loved the video and I can't wait to play this new TCG
The super pre release at my LGS is giving our decks but not promo packs in their description. I'm willing to do 20 bucks personally at most due to fomo haha. Hoping it drops from the 40. the Demo deck I get if you want to collect everything but the pricing is absurd right now, especially since its not a full deck and cant use them at tournaments.
If you mean Fomo in terms of the cards being good then I wouldn't be worried promos like these aren't designed to be exactly staple cards. Digimon was very similar with the prerelease promos seeing almost 0 play. But yeah If you mean just for the art then fair enough I've seen a bunch of the english one for sale at 20 dollars on the Facebook groups.
I just know that it can’t be used in tournaments, where is it told?

i found a card shop around doing the super event cant wait for this.
My LGS is doing a raffle for the spots to super prerelease. You have to buy things in the store to get tickets for the raffle. We just have too many people interested in the game currently. Over 50 people have signed up for it.
Im getting a promo pack from super release and from pre order of the binder.
It will probably be like Digimon promo packs selling for 40 then few months later they sold for 5 bucks lol
I got two packs for around 20 each. I just wanted them for the collecting aspect, I don't even think I'll even open them.
I got two of those promo packs free from participating in a tournament (a gold Don, too) and those 5 cards are mostly worthless, the only good one is Luffy and maybe Kid (but I stopped using it).

I’m the person willing to pay $20 and i am going to super pre release but ain’t no guaranteed I’ll be able to participate, most likely places are gonna be stacked with people
One piece merch, manga and figures tend to be On the pricey side. People were spending 400 to 500 for box sets that just got re-released
Ain't gonna lie, I thought we weren't going to get them almost bought them until I checked on Twitter about local stores getting some then I really pumped the brakes.
But I need them, how else would I get them.
At the super pre release u get the gold stamp leader I guess. So that is probably the promo card.
I picked up the binder. Hoping to get both of these with them as a bonus.

I feel like this videos aren’t fair to people who just trying to make a living I know you don’t many videos like this but everyone want things for cheap but that hurts the vendor and market pro player but against the buyer which is isn’t fair you not paying for the price of the pack you are paying me for my time and effort and money I payed to get to these events to get these. I want to say I agree that they are overprice but that’s the market I just keep my mouth shut. You being a influencer knocks the hustle for others
shouldnt be using a volatile card game for the hussle. It's not a job its a hobby. Your asking us to not tell eachother shit isnt worth money because you scooped them up? thats whack

There is no excuse for scalper prices. I'm not saying you give em out for free but scalping has never helped the market in any way except for the shelfishness and greed of those selling them.
